I think most of us would agree that Earthquake's WWF run against Hogan was the peak of his career. Could Earthquake have held the title?
I doubt anyone's gonna have the balls to post otherwise in Tenta's own forum, but I do believe 'Quake would have had monster heel heat had Hogan ever jobbed the title. I don't think that Tenta's fantasy reign would have lasted long before the forces of Hulkamania got McMahon to book him back the title, but I do believe Tenta would have been super-over.

If guys like Vader and Yoko have held the title, I don't see why Earthquake could have not won the world title.

Sure, Quake would have done great as a champion if Hogan had jobbed the title. Then again, Hogan would have had to have the title at the time for this to happen. During the Hogan/Quake heyday, Warrior was the champ.

Quake would have been a great big man champ. I'd have let the feud run into 1991 with Quake as champ going into Mania 7 to face Hogan.

Hey Quake, is it true that you "injured" Hogan so that he could be with his wife while she gave birth to their son (around '91)?

No, it was so he could film "No holds barred"

Oh wow...I was misinformed!
On a side note (and I'm not sure if admitting this is a good idea), but I actually sent Hulk a 'get well' card...

Did you wear the little bitty bracelet for Hulky, too? I don't know who is worse, you, or Ape. You both make me sick! 'Quake P.S. But your jokes keep me laughing so I guess I'll let you slide.

Hey, don't dis the bracelet!! It got me through many nights of not seeing Hulk on my TV screen...
At least I wasn't as bad as my cousin. She cried during your heinous acts, and she actually thought Hulk was gonna die.

Yes, but sadly since the WWF didn't do much with Quake after the feud, it's kind of hard to imagine him as champ. My fantasy situation: - Quake flattens Hulk at Summerslam. - Hulk retires. - Quake begins stalking the Ultimate Fruitcake. - Quake flattens the Ultimate Queer Basher. - The Nutcase wins the Royal Rumble, allowing him to go after Quake at Wrestlemania. - If ticket sales fall, bring back Hogan in a retirement match. The Warrior is attacked and squashed on Saturday Night's Main Event. - Hogan & Quake battle in a retirement match. - Quake flattens Hogan. - Quake brings back the stretcher that Hogan is on, and flattens him one more time. - Hogan actually retires, and Quake gets the recognition he deserves. Or if someone has something better. Post it.

After Hogan got crushed they should have had him in the hotpital and his machine would suddenly flatline......then hes start shaking, his eyes would burst open, rip all of the wires that he was hooked upto him, jump out of bed and rip a "WWF Magazine" with Earhquake on the cover in half, and snarl at the camera....Vince, i'm awaiting your call

I have a match on VHS (Coliseum home video) Warrior vs Earthquake, and I can't believe that Warrior have never sell a finisher in his life, not even Quake finisher... to beat the Warrior and hope to win the title, Quake would have needed a little bit of help from Papa Shango

Hey Quake, is it true that you "injured" Hogan so that he could be with his wife while she gave birth to their son (around '91)? No, it was so he could film "No holds barred" So Earthquake really was 100% evil. By the way, I was happy to see Hogan vanish every time he did. I started to hate him when Bundy put him out of action for more than 30 days. Vince didn't follow through with the stipulation that the title must be defended at least once every 30 days, he just let Hogan keep it. I thought that Hulk was a chump for letting the title stay around his waist. I felt like it should have been declared vacant and that the winner of the WM 2 main event (Bundy or Hogan) should have had to win it fair and square. I haven't been a Hulk Hogan fan from that time on. But I still can't say anything bad about someone getting upset over Hogan's "injury". When I was a kid I got really mad when Skandor Akbar burned Hacksaw Jim Duggan's face and eye with a fire ball in Mid South wrestling. Duggan was out for a period of time "as a result of it". (I didn't know a thing about flash paper in those days.) I really miss Akbar now though, he was one of the greatest heel managers that I've ever seen.

Wasn't this pre-winner gets a title shot at WrestleMania, though? That started in '92. And I'm still mad at you for injuring Hogan, Quake....cause we ended up with No Holds Barred. Even worse, we ended up...with ZEUS!
