I'm a Mizzu fan,. Unversity of Missouri. There to biggest collage in the state so I follow them. They don't play this weekend. There next game is Oct 1st against Texas. Brad Smith there QB is on great Althete. Your thoughts Quake? VS. Texas? I'm sorry but the Longhorns will be too powerful for Mizzou. After a quick look at their schedule, which is tough, they're definitely good enough for a good season, and a bowl.

Whew...that was close...I caught the second half of the ISU-Army game. It was back and forth, but Iowa State skates off with victory number 3 score of 28-21. Now this makes for an interesting game next week when Iowa State takes on the Cornhuskers. Both teams 3-0...so one team's getting ablemish...AND THERE'S STILL NO FRIGGIN' WAGER BETWEEN MY LADYFRIEND AND I!!!!! I still choose Iowa State so get that bet going! Assure her, of course that you REALLY don't care about the wager-you just want to make the game more interesting! 'Quake

Record has nothing to do with next weeks game. Sorry Quake, to disagree with you. Their coach is doing a great job. Pete Carroll? College football is his home.

Well I think it's just going to be the ability to rub the sweet taste of victory in the other's face...I can't come up with anything, and neither can she.

Hey 'Quake,
Told you that Minnesota-Purdue game would be a barnburner. I'm not happy that the Boilermakers lost, but it was one heck of a finish. 42-35 in 2OT. Good call on the pick. The Gophers stood tough and held their ground.
That's Big Ten football.

UTEP is on a roll. The first time the words "UTEP: 3-0" and "fluke" haven't been used in the same sentence.

Watch out for the Virginia/Maryland game. Those two teams REALLY don't like each other. Rivalry games are always awesome.

Yeah, that game has me a little concerned on my pick, but think UV may be strong enough to hold on. Good call flairfan. My Tigers are handling the Vols right now. They slipped in the polls. Can't stay #3 having only played one game when others have played 3 or 4. 'Quake P.S. Ric Flair is a huge Gator fan. Dusty Rhodes goes for the Longhorns.

Yeah, but watch what ASU does to them this weekend. It's one of my upsets this week. ASU is so strong offensively, if they can study the Duck's defensive strategy we may have a heck of a game! My Tigers blew it so I'm 18-3 this week. When I get time I'll modify the rankings. I guess since LSU lost after the polls came out they get a chance to redeem themselves against Miss St. before the next ones come out and won't drop as much. 'Quake

This is the wrong thread for this but, It's an alternate career name for Quake should he have done movies instead. "Hollywood" John Tenta.

Actually, Quake, we got Stanford. They will be a nice shot in the arm for UofO to get back on track.

Once again my Arizona Wildcats get to face a top 20 team. I swear it seams the past three yrs, we face top 20 teams at least 6 to 7 times a year. We're better than the last three seasons but are run defense is going to be eaten alive. I agree with Purdue losing but I have a feeling Penn ST. is going to beat Minnesota. I doubt if I can get that game here in tucson but its gonna be a good one in my opinion.
