Quake,
Are you taking off from Houston before Hurricane Rita hits? If you are staying to ride it out, God Bless you and your family.

If you are staying, here's hoping you and your family are safe (as well as anybody else in that area).

Mike, you're very right, It's only a Hurricane, and yes, an Earthquake is much stronger than a Hurricane.

Poor Shane Helms....
He turns around and his met with a powerslam by the Quake. Thumbs down and ...
BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM!
Quake bounces off the ropes and lands a massive 10 Earthquake splash. But wait what is this??? Out of nowhere Typhoon bounces off the rope and lands a tidal wave splash on the Hurricane.
meantime Rosey is enhjoying abucket of KFC... dunno why but he is.

The only good thing to come out of Katrina is that I think that more people are taking these storms seriously enough to leave. Not that the people in Galvaston needed to be told that hurricanes are dangerous. Here's hoping that everyone stays safe, but I know that there will those left behind. Some people just can't leave, some won't, some might stay to either take advantage of undefended homes, and some might stay just to protect against those.

Funny stuff on Shane and Rosey, Lex! SOMETIMES humor DOES help during HARD times. Like I say, from the old Country song...I've always been CRAZY...it keeps me from going INSANE!
I'm SURE that John and his Family are ALRIGHT, but STILL, I'll feel BETTER when we hear from him again! However, I know that he's got MUCH MORE IMPORTANT things to think about right now, though!
But, I'm CERTAIN that we WILL hear from him when he is able, and they are safely settled back into their home.
So...once again, let's send our prayers and well-wishes out to the BIG 'Quake, his Family, and to ALL of those affected by Hurricane Rita AND those STILL reeling from Hurricane Katrina. GOD BLESS THEM ALL! Amen

We are safely back home from Dallas. What a trip getting out of Houston. 21 hours to travel about 100 miles, ran low on gas, no gas at stations, had to wait for delivery, then made it to Dallas in afternoon. Came home, all was well at our house. Thanks for your concern, and well wishes. 'Quake

John...
I know that we are ALL HAPPY to know that you are back home and that EVERYONE is OK!
And now...to EVERYBODY else...
I just got off of Instant Messenger with 'Quake!
He is back home after several days away from home due to Hurricane Rita.
John and his family returned to find their home yesterday (Sunday) just as they left it...with NO DAMAGE!
John told me that the trip from outside of Houston to Dallas, which is about 170 miles, took a TOTAL of 24 driving hours! This was due to ALL of the traffic leaving the Houston area! John says the "Interstates were parking lots". He then informed me that the return trip took only 5 hours!
'Quake had another Radiation treatment today (Monday). When I asked him how they were going, he said "Treatments are going good I guess. I will know more next week after I'm done."
I didn't want to keep him online too long, because he STILL needs his rest...ESPECIALLY after this LATEST ordeal! PLUS...his wife keeps an eye on just how long he is online, AND enforces a time-limit.
In closing, we discussed that in a few days...AFTER he rests up from his long hours on the road because of Hurricane Rita, we WILL be conducting an EXCLUSIVE online Interview, where Earthquake John Tenta will discuss his career, his life, his battle with Cancer, and his recent brush with Hurricane Rita.
With that, we said our good-byes and that was it...for NOW.
I know that we are ALL happy that John and his family are SAFE and back at home...a home that suffered NO DAMAGE!
