I know that a lot of wrestlers can actually do the move(they did it in OVW or in indy show) but they never do it on WWE television.
I can think of Lesnar, Al Snow, X-Pac, HBK(don't do it anymore) just to name a few. Vader, Rosey, Jamal and Bam Bam Bigelow were using the move sometimes, I would like to know if Quake could do it, or if he ever tried(or did it come to his mind to try it?)

I've seen a picture of 'Quake doing a plancha during a match in Japan.

HBK does to the Moonsult still. But it more once in a while deal. I know he did against Angle I think this year.

Quake could do just about anything in the ring, he hit a dropkick once in 1992 when he teamed with TyphoonDon't call me "Uncle Fred" A match against the Original L.O.D at the Royal Rumble for the Tag Team Championship. I have that match on tape. That was the best match on an otherwise lack-luster"at best" PPV.

Not sure about the Moonsault, but Quake did a great powerslam.

Acsurf3 are you talking about the same lack-luster Royal Rumble 1992 where Ric Flair went one hour to win the WWF Title with Bobby Heenan and Gorilla doing commentary that will never be topped??

Just voicing my opinion. It was very unique having the title decided in that manner. Flair winning coming in at number 3 was pretty amazing, no commentating duo will ever duplicate the team of Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan. By lack luster, i mean the quality of matches put together, except for the Tag Title match. Piper/Rougeau was a joke in my opinion, was probably the worst match I've ever seen, with exception of every Al Snow match ever.

This may be a bit off topic but Angle does one of the prettiest moonsaults around.

I'll agree with you Acsurf3 the rest of the card was a bummer... except for the tag match but I always mark out for old school teams specially when they each have theme or a common look and aren't 2 guys paired up. Natural Disasters ruled for that.

Mick, if you're gonna post around here, at least use your real name like Tenta does. Thats the only reason I can think of for the Al Snow hate. The man was awesome.

Time to end all the discussions, controversy, and arguements about whether the 'Quake could do a moonsault. The answer is.........maybe. I have never actually tried one, but I think with the proper equipment (a big soft landing mat!), and practise, I could have pulled it off early in my career when I was somewhat athletic. The only thing is I don't know if I would have been able to do it well enough to protect the other person, or if I would have squashed them! If I couldn't do something safely, I didn't do it. 'Quake

Have you ever received a moonsault Quake?
And do you think that the WWE should continue the safe style and ban high risk moves who cause a lot of injuries?

Ye, it must be hard to land a moonsault and not injure the other person by mistake. It's not like a move where you are facing them. It's random really where you land.

Just thinking now, Kurt Angle broke Holly's arm with one. Jumping backwards and not been able to see the opponent. That has got me thinking about moonsaults now. Does the person doing the move "aim" for a certain landing and the person on floor move into place very carefully?
