It's often said many kids watch wrestling at one point or another of their childhood/adolescence, but they then grow out of it or lose interest.
Since we're all here, some well beyond the "expiry date", I was wondering... what made you stay?
Why do you still watch wrestling?

Once I started watching, I just never ended up stopping.
I actually don't have a clue why I watch today. I just do.

I was a child in the golden age, and a pubescent teenager in the beginning of the Attitude Era. That pretty much should explain it.
EDIT: YAAAAAAAAY! 15000 posts! Who wants to gimme a cookie?

I don't get it. At all. It's kind of a small horse, I mean what am I missing? Am I crazy?

Honestly?
It entertains me. At the end of the day, I watch wrestling because I can depend on it to take my mind off real life for a couple of hours

I like wrestling. And after all, other than a few individuals or individual moments, I've never really been given a reason to stop watching...though 2003 was tough because it sucked and I was in college and typically working too much to watch necrophellia.

It's different from anything else on TV.
Name me another TV show that isn't UFC where people can settle scores by hitting each other with punches, kicks and folding chairs?
Hell, the world should be MORE like Wrestling. I'd be awesome if Raw was mainevented by George Bush vs. Kim Jong Ill.

I don't know what made me stay during the New Generation years, but for whatever reason, it was WrestleMania 22 that made me come back after a four year hiatus from wrestling.

I stay because it's the closest thing to real life comic books. Plus it always makes me laugh.

What makes me stay is the simple fact that, no matter what, it's still better than most TV

Stopped watching in 2002 with good reason: my parents cancelled our Sky subscription so I had no other option. After a 4 year hiatus, my friend brought over a few WWE DVDs and I just got back into it. Then made a few friends who also enjoyed it and now we have a monthly PPV ritual. Life is good.

I still watch because no matter how bad the product gets, theres at least one redeeming factor about it. Plus, i dont want to miss anything important (yeah, theres youtube and dvds, but its not the same).

That animation of Kristal getting spanked is making me stay on this page...
but seriously, the nWo brought me back in to wrestling and I've never left since. Bewteen 94 and 96 I kind of lost intrest a little

Why don't you stay? I'm down on my knees I'm so tired of being lonely Don't I give you what you need?
When it's time for you to go There is one thing you should know We don't have to live this way Why don't you stay?
That's why I stayed.

Hope, that is about it.
Now more WWE, just read the reports, and I watch the Impact replay if I read about a good match. Other than that I just watch my old stuff.

I've watched wrestling nonstop for 16 years. The product may not be the greatest thing ever, but I've never seriously contemplated stop watching
