The UK won't get a Wrestlemania in my opinion due to the fact there are no British stars currently. The only reason they got Summerslam 92 was because of Bulldog being so over.

Apparently a commercial was recorded in Philadelphia (for some reason) the last time WWE were there, where they got some fans to hold a WM2010 logo and told them to shout how WrestleMania will "rock the desert". Why do that in 2007 though?

have ever thought of having a wrestlemania outside the usa? how about the new wembley? I don't think WWE would do that now with the internet in full swing and reading Wrestlemania spoilers 3 or 4 hours before they take air would probably sway some in not ordering the show.

The only place I'd imagine the UK getting a Mania would be the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, and even then they couldn't get a late license like Joe Calzaghe gets.

I don't know if WWE would want to do that, as it would start at Noon PST, which on a Sunday is still church time for a lot of folks, and LA is one of the bigger WWE markets, so I doubt they want to risk potentially losing a good portion of that market.

Something about that picture seems really off to me. Not sure what.....Seems odd Gretzky would be wearing that for starters, it seems weird that the venue is already picked and at least a pre-lim logo and slogan are done.....seems odd they have Tshirts printed up.....seems odd people in Sweden knew what Gretzky wore while being interview when he had a game in Phoenix that night.

All I can say is that I am saving my nickels & dimes...but I still think it will be 2009 & at Chase Field like the first rumor I heard.
And something will happen in which somebody winds up in the right field pool.

San Francisco in 2010. I'd campaign for mayor of SF on that promise alone (well, I may do something about the crime and homeless population too). If not, Cisco Field in Fremont should be ready in 2011. LA has had 2 and 1/3, and Anaheim has had 2. It's time NorCal gets a Mania.

My guess.. WWE sends a bunch of shirts like that to people who decide whether or not to try and get WrestleMania with potential advertising, merchandise, etc. I'm sure that any other "major" contenders for WM26 would have shirts, hats, mugs like this as well. Because while WWE makes a lot of money off the live crowd, the stadium and the cities make probably even more off the event.

Is that the way they're heading? Lobbying commitees like what the Super Bowl has?

Although I wouldn't put it in the Cow Palace, but that's just me. What about the Oracle Arena in Oakland? It's ready now and I would for sure buy tickets and walk there. Seriously.

What about Michigan Stadium? Michigan in late March-Early April? Dont think so. If it gets a roof then I think the Silverdome could kiss its 93,000 people record goodbye

Not the Cow Palace. I was thinking AT&T Park. Nicest stadium in the majors, and that's from an A's fan. Maybe not for Wrestlemania, but WWE does need to do Oracle Arena more often. It seems they always hit the Cow Palace and HP Pavilion, then skip Oakland. Shame, since Oracle is beautiful since it was renovated.
