That is exactly why WWE sucks. They draw me in, and I'm a very jaded fan, and then they blow it with a BS finish. That's why WWE will always suck hard...

So, this solidifies my belief that Trips will win the Rumble...this will make everyone think Triple H doesn't get to be in the Rumble, but of course something will happen where Trips gets to be in it and it will mean more then...

Man, I was really REALLY enjoying that match until Regal abruptly killed flair with knucks.

This was probably the best way they could have finished this match... Indeed. Nice moment there. The has been a decent show.

Regal did it to piss off Vince. And to screw over HHH.

Why can't HHH lose clean to Flair? He just lost to Jeff Hardy at a PPV. He can't lose clean to Flair? Boo this crappy ending.

It looked like Flair and HHH were going to kiss at the end.

Regal did it to piss off Vince. And to screw over HHH. Actually, I think Regal did it to get back into Vince's good graces. Keeping HHH out of the Rumble seems more important to Vince than Flair's career ending, and Regal got a good shot in on Flair as well. Win/Win for them.

Maybe it's just me but, you are not supposed to start a fued or angle with a clean win.

I thought this was actually a good show, and I hope they keep heading in this direction. I really liked the HBK-Kennedy match, they gave Orton some of his mean streak back adding a lot of fuel to that storyline, good women's match, there's some intrigue in what direction Regal is going, and I really loved that main event. Brilliantly worked, and every move was done so it really meant something.
Yeah, Flair doesn't have a lot of moves, especially nearing 60 years old, but he makes you put him in there with another ring general in front of a hot crowd and it comes off as special. He makes a move like a butterfly suplex came off like a huge spot due to how well they worked the match, every spot truly means something. Overall a really good show, and I hope they can keep this as we head into the New Year.

I'm glad Jet Li "retired" from action movies a couple of years ago... Maybe it was "fight" movies that he retired from.... That's splitting hairs though... That was Chow Yun Fat that retired. Li retired from epic action films, although made an exception to do one with Jackie Chan that should be coming out soon.
