Hey quake just curious as to if you made a log of how many needles youve had during your chemo etc..? I ended up with over 600+ needles (1 in the hand, 1 in the arm, 1 in the leg) 8 transfusions and 15+ radiation sessions and around 15 bone merrows

Glad you are in remission, I've never heard of cancer coming back after over a decade. My uncle was close to his five year mark before his tumors came back and ultimately took his life.
God, I hate cancer!!!

I've been on Lovenox for over a year which consists of two daily shots, so that's already 720, plus all the labwork, iodine contrasts, etc. If I had as many things poking out of me that I've had poked in, I'd look like a porcupine! Glad to hear you beat this crap. 'Quake

I hope you beat it too, Quake.
Think of cancer as your greatest opponent in the squared circle of life. You're going to stomp it into submission!

I was told i was cured but the cancer could come back in some kinda form.. not luikimia but bone cancer or something... I go to mcmaster in hamilton once a year now for a checkup.. they want to treat me like a lab rat for testing now but i declined. The side effects of the chemo and radiation are starting to haunt me... They said id loose my cordination and my hair at the beginning now they say liver failure, brain damage, vision loss, memory loss, bladder failure.. etc all associated with chemo and radiation treatment... To make matters worse if you were me and a child you had to sit still while being zapped with radiation at your skull and if you moved the slightest bit you were done.. So picture being 4 years old and if you have a cold how much hell you have had to go through.. Im not saying its easier when your older but alot more understanding Hang in there quake.. if i made it though you can too Just let the doctors do what they can and if they say try this then try it honestly the only side effects i feel from my treatments maybe as of now are some memory loss or short attention span I still got scars on my hands from the idiot nurses who dont know how to find a vien... lol take it easy man

Wow, I thought all of the things that I went through over the years were not fun. I knew there were many people who went through things a thousand times worse, but it is a hard thing to grasp what you cancer patients go through. That's hardcore. You both have my respect.

This stuff freaks me out because I have a huge fear of needles.
