My dad bought me a WWF ring in 1991.
It was beautiful. Absolutely perfect.
These days, rings are crap.

My wife & I got our daughter the Money In the Bank ring for Christmas. She wanted it & the commercials look cool. So I get it, build it, & I am dissapointed in it. First off, the commercials show Jeff Hardy & Shelton Benjamin coming with it. Instead of Hardy, ya get RVD. Second off, the ring ropes are not even connected. And when I mean connected, not like a rubber band or real ring ropes. You have to place them around the turnbuckles then tie the ends of the rope together in a knot. Third off, this thing is small as hell. We have the Wrestlemania 2 Steel Cage & the MITB is MUCH smaller then it. The wrestlers look like giants when in the ring compared to the ringposts & ropes. It doesn't have the ring feel that the WM2 ring does. No steps. The ropes are to close to each other. It's just a joke & a major dissapointment. But my daughter is extremely happy about it...so I guess if she's happy, that's all that matters...right? Even if it is hard to have more then 2 wrestle in the ring like the real MITB was meant to be. RVD? Oh, I'd take it back. I'm serious. I wouldn't want that kind of influence around my kid.

Vikki Snake? I haven't heard that name in like months (or was it years).
Was that the same Ultimate Warrior loving Troll from back in the day?

I went to Target yesterday and looked in the aisle with the wrestling figures, like I usually do.
There were two Micro Aggression rings and a Candice Michelle figure left.
Ha.

I remember getting the WWF monster ring when I was a young one. That thing was awesome. I think I still have it lying around somewhere. ^^I still have mine, it's in my closet it fact. The MITB playset is bigger & better than a stunt action ring. Order of current stuff for me is RSRv2>RSR:EC>MITB>SAR>SAR:EC The RSRv2 (WM2 ed.) is the nicest ring thats readily available at the moment. It's bigger than the MITB set and alot bigger than the SAR. I had an SAR and hated it....too small for anything. I had the Monster Ring first & got a WCW ring to replace it (still have that one too) and it was ok at best (came w/ a cage...only reason I got it) but ended up going back to the Monster Ring (used that thing regularly from ages 8 - 15) then I got the SAR and it was nice cause it was updated but it was far too small and I used it over a year. Got the RSRv2 for Christmas and I love it. Thing is incredible.

I still have my old War Zone ring, which was awesome, but now the ringposts are held in with superglue and the ring ropes are completely knackered, as are all my figures. Damn, I played with action figures too much as a kid.
