I've seen him do a missle dropkick off the top rope before in WCW. He dosen't do it anymore because of basic psychology.
I don't doubt that he could have done a moonsault when training at the WCW powerplant.

It's not that far fetched, guys around his weight have done them before.

I saw show do a moss covered family gredunzel at a house show once. Went from that right into an ARMBAR

I'm sure I've seen him hit a missile dropkick. Maybe at one of WCW World War 3 events. He definitely hit a missile dropkick at least once early in his career in WCW.

He hit a dropkick against Kevin Nash or Scott Hall when he and Luger were against them for the tag team belts. Luger was out injured but came in at the end and they won the tag belts.

plans on doing it in his match with Kevin Nash at Starrcade 1997 (which Nash sidestepped, possibly due to him having to take the loss). Nash was in the hospital.

Like everyone else, I've heard that he has done them in training or practice but to the best of my knowledge there is no footage and it's never been done in a broadcasted match.

I saw him do that kick up on a Nitro against Curt Henning. Same match Henning Henning plexed him.

I believe he did it in the power plant on a regular basis, but WCW wanted him to work as a"big man" and he was discouraged from doing it That's what I heard. He did it at a house show and the agents went berserk on him about it. Why? A big monster that can hit high flying moves as well as power moves? You could put him over as one of the most dangerous monsters of all time because he can do the best of both worlds. That dropkick in the WWF got a good reaction. Also, that squash against Big Show is my new favorite Benoit match. Pretty much whenever he's used when I play video games now it's for him to get squashed by a big wrestler.

Same reason I want to murder whoever decided never to push Vader and Mike Awesome in the WWE. Two big men who could do anything.

I remember Styles' commentary: "Some 300 pounders don't even leave their feet anymore brother!"

Yep. Awesome/Tanaka is my favorite match series of all time. No matter WHO won (and it usually seemed to be Awesome) the match was, well, awesome. Their matches from One Night Stand (I was there live, woot!) and on the Bloodsport (I think thats what its called) ECW DVDs are also excellent and worth tracking down in addition to your VHS if you enjoyed it.

When Show was wrestling in Mexico, he did an 840 top rope corkscrew senton on Super Blue Cross #6. He did it during a commercial though, so there's no footage.

Those matches were great. I still remember the hardcore TV WHC match they had where Awesome hit a sitdown powerbomb off the apron to the floor on Tanaka. Then after the match he Awesome-bombed himout of the ring through a table, but only Tanaka's thighs broke the table and the rest of him ploughed into the concrete. Mega sick. Bam Bam Bigelow was another who should've had that push. He did enzugiris, cartwheels, moonsaults, dropkicks, blockbusters and planchas for goodness sake. Him and Vader as an athletic monster tag-team in WWE would've been lots of $$$.

A Showsault must've required a great deal of trust from the opposing wrestler.

I have a lot of WCW stuff and pretty certain that Giant never did a moonsault, at least not on TV.
I remember seeing him employ the dropkick on several occasions against guys like Savage and Meng, and he used the missile dropkick against Rick Steiner at Halloween Havoc 98 also.
