Here's how I would have it go down:
Vince announces that tonight Triple H's match will be an over-the-top-rope battle royal as sort of a preview for the Rumble. For Triple H, he has to win the battle royal to get into the Rumble. For everyone else, there is no prize for winning except bragging rights. However, if anyone can eliminate Triple H, they get to be No. 30 in the Rumble. This paints a huge bullseye on Triple H's back. Of course, Triple H wins. Since none of the Raw Superstars could earn the No. 30 spot, they hold another battle royal on Smackdown (or ECW) where the winner gets to be No. 30.
