The Mickie Trish angle in my eyes was the BEST angle the E had in years. And I'm not just saying that because of my infatuation with Mickie. It had everything going for it. Jealousy, Rage, Kidnapping. Everything.

Not to mention one of the greatest women's matches of all time at Wrestlemania. When was the last time a women's match was not only solid, but told a story, as well as keep the fans so into it that they decided to cheer the heel.

I hope this goes somewhere. If she goes heel, I think that would be better for her. When Candice comes back, Mickie would clearly be the #2 face behind her. If she turns heel, then she can work her own program with Candice, hopefully for the women's title.

I'm starting to think they're going with Mickie/Ashley now - and not the way you might think. I think they're actually going to turn Ashley heel, as she no-sold Mickie to talk to Maria about Playboy, where Maria actually cared about Mickie.

I hope it doesn't. We would then see either face Jillian (not effective) or face Melina (who is the #2 heel lynchpin), which would be going backwards a few steps after taking one step forward.

Remember, Mickie became a face not through turn. She was a heel and the fans ended up simply loving her. (Basically a reverse Santino or Rock)

It is, however, a nice start to an angle where Mickie betters herself to beat Beth Phoenix, leading to a big payoff match (perhaps something with a legit stip) at WrestleMania.

I'm hoping for Mickie/Beth myself. They're the two best workers on the RAW roster and they now have some sort of rivalry happening with Mickie being so upset.

Also, if they turn Mickie heel, they have no face who can actually work in the women's division. All the other talented women are heels. Unless they turn Melina face, of course, which they do seem to be doing.

It's almost unheard of in wrestling, but Mickie has essentially become damned to be a face for all eternity. There simply can be no way due to her gimmick and character, and how it imprinted on everyone, that she can be turned against at this point.

I'd daresay it's better to be over to the degree of Melina: solidly over but not popular to the point of no return, not to mention less extreme in character so that a turn or change is possible.

Ya know, at this point, Edge has a better chance of effectively turning (and remaining) face than Mickie does as turning heel and staying there.
