What a botch by Punk LOL... guess he thought that Edge's friends were supposed to interfere One of them went for Punk's foot but, pulled back before Punk slipped. I thought they would have mentioned that to cover for it but, whatever. I hate that damn clothsline anyway. |

I would have made Edge cheat to win, but of course I am pretty biased towards Punk because I think he can be a main eventer.

Well Punk hasn't been really pushed as being on the same level as Edge yet, I wouldn't really worry. I think they gave Edge a clean win over Benoit when he first came to Smackdown, so I think he's booked as being able to beat guys who are booked on the midcard level (which Benoit had been since going back to Smackdown), just not against guys in title programs with him. At this point in Punk's career, after only like a year and a half in WWE, main eventing against the World Champion in a competitive match should still be considered a big step forward. |

I'm sure Punk is just fine, he got to main event in a singles match against the World Champion.
I remember over a year ago where people were thinking he'd be through after losing clean to Hardcore Holly.

Yeah Punk's going to be fine. I had no problem with Edge beating him clean this time around. CM Punk is going to be a huge part of the company for years to come and one clean loss to Edge is not going to put an end to it.

Plus I don't get the bitching about Punk. The dude lost to Edge, the world champion. It isn't like he did the job to Funaki or something. This is why I can't get behind Punk, because all the smarks go nuts if he isn't made to look like SuperCena.
