i dont even know where to start. i only just found out about this great site where the great EARTHQUAKE spoke directly to his fans brutally and honestly about his life and his health problems... and today i get home from work to read on WWE's website that this great man John Tenta has sadly passed on. i may be new to this site but i've been a fan of Mr Tenta's since he came out of the crowd and sat on Dino Bravo and Ultimate Warrior while they did push ups... all my prayers go out to his family and friends, and all you guys that have got to know him through this site. god bless the MIGHTY EARTHQUAKE John Tenta!

I think we should start a 'Quake for Hall of Fame Campaign. If the WWE is truly about the fans, they will have to listen. He deserves to be inducted.

I was fortunate to join this forum three days ago to send my prayers to Quake. Today, he will be missed, and without a doubt he deserves to be inducted someday.

As a testament to Quake I will say this....
He's the only wrestler, either during or after my "it's still real to me" years, that got me to cry. That was during his feud with Hogan where he put Hogan in the hosptial. I even sent Hogan a get well card. That was the only time in any feud I ever reacted that way. That's truly a testament to how great a performer he was.
Thanks for the memories John. You're a damned good man.

Oh man I'm stunned. R.I.P John, we'll miss you so much. You were a true ray of sunshine here at the boards, a great guy to talk to, always courteous and I'll be praying for your family.

John didn't want to be in the Hall of Fame just yet, he felt there where people more important than him that deserved in. That's another testament to just how unselfish he was, something that generally doesn't come with professional wrestlers.

Right now, I am at a loss for words.
Most of you know, I was a friend of John's, outside the Internet world. I've talked to him on the phone and everything else. Matter of fact, I was suppose to go visit him in November, down in Texas. I was looking forward to that.
He asked me to make him a video of all his matches that I have on DVD. Now, I'll never be able to give him that.
John was a great man, that loved his family more than anything in this world. His kids, were his reason for staying around. He loved them all so much. I doubt anyone from the family will read this, but if they do, I'd love for Little John to give me a call.
I.... really don't know what else to say. I'll miss you, my friend. You'll always have a place in my heart. Goodbye, My Friend.
