Sadly, if true, Lashley is shooting himself in the foot. It is clear Vince wants big things from him so he shouldn't need to worry about politics. Plus he's got tons of natural physical talent, just sadly he has no mic skills. He's put on some very good matches, it's just "TEH INTERWEBZ" doesn't like him because he was big, muscular, and not an Indy guy and got a push. But if he thinks he can make it in MMA he's mistaken. Brock was an NCAA D-1 champion. He has some legit wrestling cred. Lashley doesn't have that. Sure he might be able to make it with hard work, but he won't get the publicity Brock gets. Lashley was also an amateur wrestler. They always mentioned on TV that he wrestled in college and in the Army. |

Not saying it isn't true, but who in the blue hell is Ryan Gray of Wrestlingnewsworld.com, and why would Lashley call him instead of Meltzer, Keller, Johnson, Scherer, etc.? Admittedly it's not much of a source, but since none of the legitimate wrestling sites are even reporting it as rumor (save for PWTorch and Keller's not the one reporting it), I'll take any leads I can get. |

Actually, I'm going to print my own retraction of the confirmation before the newz sites do, given that Ryan Gray of wrestlingnewsworld talked to Lashley, according to Richard Gray, and given that wrestlingnewsworld isn't even headlining with it.
I'd say this is still rumor until proven otherwise.

He's talking about that time Kane got locked in the closet but there was another door. I don't know what to make of that one, really. For starters, he sounds mad. HOWEVER! LIKE I SAID BEFORE. As if the interviewer wasn't listening and he had to check them. If you struggle, doors open around those people. What flippin' people? Good people? Bad people? What kind of doors? Trap doors? Is he saying that if you perservere, bad people will fall into trap doors? I'm with that. |
