Just what I was about to say, GShton, although I was going to deliver it in an "RD geek voice."

I wrote this poem shortly after Tenta passed away. The writers at Pro Wrestling Illustrated gave me high marks for it:
THE GROUND WILL SHAKE NO MORE by Sean Bush "The Boss" of Pro Wrestling
While waiting for the light to change So that I may cross the street I felt a surge of energy Stirring beneath my feet
The cars once stuck in traffic Suddenly began to shake The people started screaming "It's an earthquake!"
Overcome with fear I couldn't move I just stood and watched it all The awesome force of nature That caused buildings to fall
As the damage was assessed I saw a child cry Suffering the greatest loss of all She watched her father die
I now realize I'm a lucky one Who was able to endure The earthquake is now over The ground will shake no more

Today is a sad day for me. Three yeas ago today I lost my father to cancer. The same disease that claimed the life of John "Earthquake" Tenta. I know what his family went through. That's probably the main reason that Tenta's death touched me more than other wrestlers who have died. While I'm always sad to hear of a wrestlers passing, I felt much closer to this one as I was (am) still recovering from my own loss.
