There's a brief mention of Quake on page 60 of the Feb. 07 issue of WWE Magazine. It's an article called "By the Pound" with the subtitle "At a combined weight of 8,888 lbs, these are WWE's biggest hitters."
Quake's part reads: "Earthquake Max weight: 462 lbs. What's crueler than murdering your archrival's pet snake by sitting on it? Serving the carcass to a lovable British announcer in the form of charbroiled "Quakeburgers." Earthquake also splintered Hulk Hogan's ribs like balsa wood with a fateful butt-drop; that's right, not even Hulkamania could stand up to the power of morbid obesity."
The rest of the list is as follows:
15. George "The Animal" Steele (max 245 lbs) 14. Happy Humphrey (max 900 lbs) 13. Bastion Booger (max 360 lbs) 12. Bam Bam Bigelow (max 360 lbs) 11. Rikishi (max 400 lbs) 10. Kamala (max 375 lbs) 9. Vader (max 450 lbs) 8. Viscera (max 485 lbs) 7. Haystacks Calhoun (max 601 lbs) 6. King Kong Bundy (max 444 lbs) 5. Earthquake (max 462 lbs) 4. Gorilla Monsoon (max 400 lbs) 3. Umaga (max 348 lbs) 2. Yokozuna (max 700 lbs) 1. Dusty Rhodes (max 302 lbs)
Dishonorable mention (titled "Not Worth Their Weight") The Master Loch Ness Playboy Buddy Rose

Well I wouldn't exactly call Earthquake "morbidly obese", especially considering how agile and powerful he was....that wasn't exactly all flab! Nice to see a mention though. I bet they've got real "nice" things to say about Vader...

I do detest WWE magazine, especially now they've become more "smarky" and make HILAARIOUS captions in the pictures and talk like a bunch of dicks.
I read one issue where the writers ripped on Max Moon...but it's weird because Max Moon has looped round from being a laughing stock to being a fun mention. So for them to make him out to be a waste of space isn't that cool.
I'm sure with this issue, they made comments about how "loveably fat" Dusty Rhodes was.

It's not really fair to put Buddy Rose in the same category as Loch Ness and The Master (whoever the hell he was). Rose was used as enhancement talent in the WWF but he was a GREAT in-ring performer. He and Doug Somers were a great tag team in the territories and AWA, and he was also a fine singles performer as well.
Although he didn't make this list, Mike Shaw falls into that same category: great worker who shouldn't be judged on what he did in the WWF (Bastion Booger, Friar Ferguson). Look instead at what he did as Makhan Singh in Canada and Norman the Lunatic in WCW (before he was turned face).

I think it's disgusting that they referred to Quake as morbidly obese. For Christ's sake, have some waxing respect.

I'm very surprised that they listed Happy Humphry on that list. Mostly because the target audience of the magazine has no idea who he was.

Exactly...... according to Hogan he weighed 1200 lbs and the Hulkster, with his 24 inch pythons lifted him above his head and slammed that Giant...... Andre deserves to be on the list...... and since when was George Steele a big man.......... didn't remember his run as a huge dude......... love him all the same though..........
