Whoever is booking the show now needs to end the 5-match format. The angles running are: Kelly v Layla and Not-Layla Big Stevie Cool's comeback Kofi Kingston Dreamer mentoring Colin "Whipwreck" Delaney Punk v Chavo (unless that's ended) Surely, some combining is in order to bring it back to the old three-match format I know the 5 match format seems rushed, but they are trying to push/get over 2 guys (Stevie, Kofi) so 2 minute squashes are a must for those two right now. If they could cut out the 10 minutes of Raw recaps maybe the show wouldn't feel so crammed together.

I always thought the five match format for an hour show sucked. I dont care if we get an extra match if its a 2 minute squash, i really dont care about that. Even with four matches and one angle, all but the main event last 2 minutes. Richards over Curtis @ 2:20 via pin Miz over Delaney @ 2:25 via pin Kingston over Riggs @ 2:30 via pin The main event was solid, and the opening angle segment was good. But there is always ALWAYS 2 to 3 meaningless squash matches in the middle of the ecw shows that I cant get into, no matter how much i might like the guys doing the squashing. Indeed, if the bookers view ECW as nothing more than a developmental talent show, then wouldn't it help to give each match more time? And cut down on bringing in Smackdown people for tag matches. (Obviously I'll give Naitch a pass on this as he only has six weeks left and wants to work with as many of the newer guys as possible) I know it's not a popular sentiment around here given the participants, but I was disappointed there was no divas match this week (nor on Smackdown). I really liked last week's match, and given that it's only been about 3 months since that botch-filled match that everyone makes fun of. I want to see what's next

I don't mind squashes, so I don't mind the "squash format"
Miz & Delaney work as part of the Miz/Morrison/Dreamer/Delaney story. Delaney definitely hasn't shown signs of improvement outside of being "brave" enough to return after being put in the ring with nearly every monster in the daggone company, so it makes sense that he still wouldn't last long in a match against Miz.
Richards' return winning streak works well with a couple opening squashes.
The only one I'd disagree with is Kofi. He beat Mike Knox last week...which I took as a sign that he would start getting involved with the regular cast of characters. This week was kind of a step back.

usually after beating Mike knox and having a couple of rematches against him, you get Kevin Thorne, then Finally Elijah Burke.

If they would just show Morrison and Miz dirt sheet the ratings would increase.
