I would hate it if someone like Triple H kept repeating the same tired crap. Every Triple H promo is like a breath of fresh air. Mayweather should get whoever writes Cena's poo jokes to give him some lines.

Dancing with the Stars really killed any sort of toughness the guy has. Maybe if he was a crazy heavyweight like Tyson was, but it really show how people have no interest in Mayweather. At least this is better then all the Trump promos we got last year. |

Does anyone here actually watch boxing on a regular basis? I think this whole thing with Floyd Mayweather is great! It's stupid that he's for some reason feuding with The Big Show... but other than that, I've been enjoying every minute of it.

I love Mayweathers involvement. Sure, it could be booker better, but it certainly isn't terrible.
Big Show was coming back, in great shape, after being gone for months. They should have brought him back as a face. People genuinely like the Big Show, so after not seeing him for a while, it was pretty exciting to have him back and people wanted to cheer for him.
It's so obvious they went with the wrong guy as the heel. How cool would it have been for Mayweather to "invade" and attack the Big Show, because he's the "center of attention, biggest attraction, etc." It was pretty bad ass that Show chased him down as he was bleeding and it would have worked just as well with him as the face chasing the cowardly heel out of the building. Then Mayweather would have plenty to do and say on the mic about Big Show, wrestling, his money, his talent, whatever. He could have garnered some serious heat because it just feels natural to boo him. He's out of his element and people not familiar with him already want to boo him.
This could turn out to be really successful for WWE. I think there could have been many different, better ways to book it, but I am enjoying it for what it is.
Mayweather is the man anyway, so as soon as I found out he was involved, I was hooked. I probably wont order WM, but I will be very interested in seeing how this turns out.

You can say Floyd sucks as a wrestler, and you can say that he is a bad baby face, but as a boxer he is top notch, he has never lost a fight in his career and he has held championship gold in three different weight class's. The reason that Floyd comes off stale is because WWE is booking him wrong just like they do everybody. Mayweather should be a heel plain and simple. In real life he has made a career out of being the guy everybody loves to hate. Making him a face in this thing is just plain stupid. Also they should have had him feud a smaller wrestler that he can put on a good match with. I think a Mayweather vs Mysterio match could have at least been as good as LT vs BamBam. |

If anyone has ever seen the 24/7 boxing show then you'll know Mayweather is an awesome smack talker but he should definitely have been heel and feuded with someone smaller.

For a guy that did great promos on the road to his fight against Hatton, he sucked Monday Night. He was really bad.
At least with K-Fed, he built and progressed the fued along.

The dude sleeps walks through fights against the best fighters in the World. This guy dominates more than Tyson did back in the 80's. He's a freaking beast. If Big Show tried to shoot on Mayweather, Big Show would get his ass knocked out in a few seconds, ruining his career. Anyway, I can't blame Money Mayweather for his promo on Monday. It was quite clear that he read from a cue card. Not only that, booking him as a face was just idiotic. The guy comes out to 50 cent's Money song. His nickname is Money, and he's an athlete. Strike two. Mayweather dominates his sport, and is one cocky SOB. Why Vince thought Mayweather would be a face in WWE is beyond me. The fact Mayweather is wrestling is also silly. |
