Due to the higher tickets prices for this year's Wrestlemania, the WWE has already surpassed its own record $5.38 million gross of last year's Wrestlemania.
- The $5.38 million Wrestlemania figure approaches UFC's $5.397 million record for Tito Ortiz vs. Chuck Liddell in 2006.
- Floyd Mayweather Jr. is currently being trained by developmental wrestler Matt Sydal. Mayweather and Sydal are about the same size.
- The original plan had Rey Mysterio in Floyd Mayweather's corner at Wrestlemania since The Big Show attacked him at No Way Out.
Before his suspension, WWE was planning a Jeff Hardy vs. Chris Jericho long-term program. Creative was searching for a new feud for Y2J since it was felt his program with JBL wasn't clicking.

A Jeff Hardy-Chris Jericho feud over the WWE Title would've been awesome

A Jeff Hardy-Chris Jericho feud over the WWE Title would've been awesome Sadly it probably would've been over the IC title.

Matt Cappotelli has been undergoing chemotherapy treatment for his brain cancer. As we previously noted, Cappotelli remains under contract to WWE and is still in living in Louisville, KY. During a recent promotional tour of the U.K., John Morrison said he socializes with Cappotelli and his goal is to wrestle again. Morrison has known Cappotelli since their “Tough Enough” days.

That Matt is still getting some finical assistance from the WWE, and that John hasn't forgotten about him.

Not socializing with Cancer patients is not allowed in the Palace of Wisdom.
In any case, shouldn't all Mayweather news be classified under MME News and Notes? Just like how all Booker Huffman news has to be on the Booker TNA News and Notes Board.

I do agree on the JBL/Jericho feud not doing well, it just didn't work for me as I found it rather boring.
Jericho/Hardy would've been much better but given recent events it can't be helped.

I've heard so much about Matt Cappotelli and his ability in the ring. Lance Storm said when he was there, Matt was the best talent in OVW. I really hope he comes back to the ring soon.

So the E is gonna set a record but simply raised prices to do it? I don't want to hear of another "record breaking" anything-its all bullshit

Matt's a really nice guy. I met him at a homecoming football game since his brother went to my college

Really hope Matt gets healthy soon. - Floyd Mayweather Jr. is currently being trained by developmental wrestler Matt Sydal. Mayweather and Sydal are about the same size. Wow. If Floyd busts out an SSP, Cyclorama or Here It Is on Big Show at Mania....I'll mark like never before.

After watching Smackdown on friday, I really want to see a Jericho/MVP fued. This is what I want to see, too. Maybe a new champion Vs Champion best of Seven series is needed for the Summer. And my thoughts are still with Matt in his recovery. Hopefully, he'll be better and can actually join back up with WWE in some sort of capacity.

So the E is gonna set a record but simply raised prices to do it? I don't want to hear of another "record breaking" anything-its all bullcrap well, to be fair to the wwe, the source is the observer, not a press release from the wwe bragging about setting a record, but aside from that, the fact that theyve raised the price to such a ridiculously expensive amount and yet still got enough buys to make a record is bragworthy in itself

It's not really bullcrap to say that they're making more because they've raised prices.

So is Floyd/Show a wrestling match akin to LT/Bam Bam? Or are they gonna box seeing as the Big Show's new finisher is a knockout punch? I'm still not sure.
