Umaga got more offense in than Batista did, by far. Batista just came on at the end with his usual ending spurt of offense.

Batista/Umaga wasn't a squash... At least U-Manga got some offense in. Kane vs Chavo for the wwecw title however was a squash/flatten/smother.

The match was about 9 minutes, but it seemed rushed. Umaga's matches are better for his style when It's a slow, systematic destruction. Batista tarted off very strong, but Umaga took control for about 5 minutes. Batista then got an opening, did the spinebuster, an the batista bomb for the win.
the "manhandling" part was because of the Batista bomb. Batista dropped Umaga on the side instead of between his legs, but Batista lifted Umaga up with incredible force. Yes, I know that it's the guy being put in the move that's doing all the work, but I can't help but remember the mindless Batista bashing of 2006 when the timing of the Batista bomb was off in his match with Booker T, and everyone kept saying how Batista wasn't strong enough to lift him up.

It was a typical SmackDown TV match, Batista could have been wrestling Deuce or Domino for all the difference it would have made.

Yeah, Batista was booed. I kind of felt bad for him. He also almost botched the Batista Bomb. It's amazing how last year at WM 23 he had probably the best match of his career and this year he was featured in a forgettable mid-card match. I wonder what's next for him.

this match could have easily been left off the card and let the ECW title match have its time. If the wwe is just going to have some matches on the card thats rushed and are crap why even bother. Just give the good matches more time.

Well, as I recall a couple of years ago he needed Flair and Orton's help to get Mick Foley up. I think Umaga ways quite a bit more.

Umaga showed up.
Batista didn't.
The match suffered because of it.

I would not blame him for a botch on the powerbomb.
I mean Umaga is a big dude, and all of Batistas muscles in his back moved a way that they probably should not have.
I'm guessing as soon as he got backstage he was layed down with some pain killers cause it looked like it hurt like hell.

Best part of the match:
Fans at ringside chanting "Oo-Oo-Umaga!"

I thought it would be a fast paced slobberknocker with both men struggling to finish each other off, I was really disappointed they could have done much better.
Why go at such a slow pace for that short a match?

I didn't even think it was a botch, it looked to me like he was selling his back.
