Interesting that Angle spoke so highly of her. I heard (I might be wrong) that Angle and Joe where among people that rallied to get her in TNA and give her a huge push.

One thing TNA is doing right is having a women's division that is as different from the WWE's version as night and day. If they applied that to everything else in their promotion they might be contenders.

I totally forgot the Chicago Sun had pro wrestling in their sports section.

The Kim/Kong fued worked because they didn't overthink it.
I'm just dreading it becoming Russo'ized. Kong will have a deep dark secret, a few long lost siblings of hers will be revealed, then Kim will turn heel for no reason, and they'll end up fighting over Kim's boyfreind.

One of the best booked angles in years, barring none. Bravo TNA for showing the mainstream media that women's wrestling doesn't have to be all ridicules storylines and sexist gimmick matches.

I also think it's fantastically awesome they gave that match the main event on the show. That is just pure class.

If they applied that to everything else in their promotion they might be contenders. I completely agree with that. Their having actual women wrestlers go out and have wrestling matches, and the eye candy they do have can either back it up in the ring, or is regulated to a non-wrestling role. It works out really well for everyone, in my opinion.

I'm surprised Gail weighs 125 pounds. She is tiny.

Absolutely, positively worth getting main-event news. The feud was dynamite, they've had nothing but amazing matches, and full marks to TNA for getting behind it 100% of the way. The ending of the match tonight (with Kong just decimating Kim) has set the stage for Kim to get well and then "come chasing after the belt again".
Jay Lethal hyped up the match. Kurt Angle hyped up the match. ODB hyped up the match. And the match delivered.
So far, in the "Meanstreetposse Beat The Clock Challenge", I only had to PVR fast-forward through 24 minutes of TNA's two hours. Compared to 55 minutes of Raw. And we'll see what Smackdown produces".

...not to be a buzzkiller but TNA isn't the first company to put on non-sexist Women's wrestling.
SHIMMER anyone? People act all shocked like TNA is doing something that no one else ever has done when there is an entire company based around what they are doing.

Ross Forman was responsible for that article in the Chicago paper...former WCW magazine writer, and friend of Jeremy Borash, friend of Jeff Jarrett, friend of Bob Ryder, and friend of Vince Russo.
EDIT: Gail and Kong DO deserve mainstream pub, because they're doing solid work that pretty much any wrestling fan from any era could appreciate.

Yeah, but SHIMMER isn't a 'mainstream' wrestling company, is it? When a company TNA's size actually has the guts to put together a competitive Women's division they should be congratulated for it. EDIT: Beaten like a Government mule BAH GAWD, KANG!!

I totally forgot the Chicago Sun had pro wrestling in their sports section. Well that's true and it isn't. There was a guy named Blackjack Brown who tried to write wretling three Sundays a month. This consisted of him copying and pasting the latest "newz" and making stuff up. I don't think it has appeared in a few weeks, and the Sun Times is making some huge cutbacks. This article came from a guy named Elliot Harris who does "Quick Hits" a bunch of random short stories and pictures of scantilly clad women.
