The show still feels longer than all the other WWE programming combined I thought the complaint was that TNA seemed like it was on fast forward and everything happened so quickly nobody had time to process anything. Don't people on this board always claim they can't remember anything that happened after the show ends? Regardless, whether people think the show is too fast paced, or feels like it's 12 hours long, I think the pacing is fine.

I'm starting to rate them hard now because of what there capiable of doing because they are much better then this. I gave up on the WWE years ago I still watch them but I know there not as good. Right now I would have to say that Ring of Honor is leading the pack with WWE behind and TNA way behind. Plus they haven't made a profit yet. I know it takes many years to start making a profit, but they just haven't. I live here in Kansas and they went to Kansas City, Kansas and had a house show and it bombed with 90 people going I never saw a sing promo advertising it on my single tv I had to look on the internet to see if they were coming and that night I was busy with family stuff and couldn't go.

That run-on sentence made my brain hurt.
But I agree. The over-relyance on 'storyline' and the out-of-nowhere gimmick matches are flash that are drowning out potentially good wrestling. If you let the wrestlers wrestle, the wrestling fans will appreciate and come back for more.
Somebody backstage needs to pull back harder on the reins and control these writers.

I'm down with TNA.
What do people really want? I mean if they do no storylines and build ups then all it is is fake MMA with no personality. They are experimenting a little with their style vs what their roster consists of, but overall it is still turning out better than most of the WWE's brain dead snorefest.

Of course you have to have storylines in wrestling, but the storylines that TNA are doing is turning people away. They also aren't pushing the right people. They are pushing wrestlers who already have been established, and making all there money on old WWE stars and WCW guys.

I like it alright for the most part. There is usually a match or two or a segment or interview per show I enjoy in the two hours that its on, and that's really all I ask. I'm not that exacting, as long as I'm moderately entertained for the duration of the show it's cool.

aI love how people have mentioned how it's a chore. Like we're forced to watch it. Is there a reason why people watch wrestling if it's not enjoyable to them? I mean with 4378781 channels out there, I'm sure there's something else to watch.

I have been upset by all the gimmick matches, the dumb at times writing, the lack of resolutions for all the women stuff, and the not pushing of LAX.
But its still wrestling so I'll enjoy watching it. I think the last PPV really hurt them, so hopefully they turn around with the next PPV.
But the writing has just been god aweful lately. Why does everything have to be a big joke?

I like TNA. They had a lot of success with gimmick matches, so now they think everything has to have a gimmick or the fans won't like it...which is stupid. It's a good way to water down the idea of needing a gimmick for a feud. Plus the whole Lockdown PPV is a dumb idea.
There are only a few guys on the roster that I really dislike (Team 3D, Bobby Roode). Not only that, they figured out a way to get Jay Lethal and (to a lesser extent) Sonjay Dutt over. They seem to have some creative juices down there. Though their new plan for Petey Williams will go nowhere fast.
Long story short, I DVR all four wrestling shows every week. I watch three of them without fail. I only look at Smackdown if I'm really bored.

I rarely watch TNA except for the occasional Thursdays that I have nothing to watch and decide to give them a chance. Without fail, I end up wanting 1-2 hours of my life back.

I mean with 4378781 channels out there, I'm sure there's something else to watch. It reminds me of Comic Book Guy's line when he came out of the quasi-Phantom Menace movie. "WORSE-MOVIE-EVER! I plan on only watching it 8 more times!"
