Freaking awesome. better than ANYTHING produced by WWE in last 5 years. IMHO
Shame the rest of TNA isn't booked with such logic

Apparently the women's division is booked by Scott D'Amore. That's why it's the only good thing about Impact nowadays.

The first match was fantastic, and this one was even better. Looking at that roster, it's hard to believe that these two are the best thing that TNA has going. All the credit in the world to Gail and Kong though, they're tearing the house down.

Its odd it took this long, because Kong's not even that talented, most joshis aren't, other than like Toyota and Kudo, it's more of 'look scary and take abuse', but I guess it somehow worked

Plus because of her size, she is able to put on a women's match like you can't see with other female wrestlers. With Kong, every match is basically her opponent being half her size and not being able to do most of their normal moves. The match is usually Kong dominating, and her opponent instantly becomes the "plucky underdog" who has to rely on clever tactics and sneakiness to do anything. This whole psychology of a match is something that you just can't have with two average sized women wrestlers.

Truly one of the best women's matches in years, perhaps ever, barring none. What a fantastic program thus far I must say. I only hope that TNA keeps up the great work both with Kong/Kim, and with the Women's division in general

I've yet to see this match, but after all the praise it's received, I suppose it's a must now.

Great match. Don't know if this sounds completely off base, but it was kinda like watching a monster movie where a heroine's trying to flee and/or fight off a beast, can't kill it, but finally does in the end in the happy ending. Except in the movies, there isn't an extra pull-apart brawl.
Gail/Kong have such great chemistry together as opponents, you could show that match to a non-wrestling fan, and I think they'd not only get it, but kind of dig it.
Back when I heard TNA was starting a women's division, I rolled my eyes. I was a moron. This Gail-Kong feud is some of the best mainstream wrestling stuff I've seen in a while.

If Kim / Kong at Final Resolution isn't exactly what wrestling is supposed to be, it's pretty darn close.
Memo to Vince McMahon: Yes, there is a mild "prurient interest" among some male wrestling fans when it comes to female wrestling. You do not need an "eight boob-stick pillow fight brawl" to tap into it. Sometimes, simply having a compelling match featuring compelling athletic action is even better. There's a reason that the "female action hero" genre was everywhere in the late 90s, and it's not because of the revolutionary storytelling techniques employed.

Great match, but I wtf'd at the plastic soda bottle to Kong's head. Kim basically grabbed the nearest thing she could get her hands on to keep Kong away from her. Unfortunately, it just happened to be a plastic bottle.

Was it D'More who booking before Russo took over?
Because if this is the man that got me interested in TNA with the LAX/Styles&Daniels feud.. why on Earth is he not booking the entire promotion?

I just want to say how much I love how this whole Kong/Kim feud discussion has NOT ONCE mentioned how attractive Gail is or Kong isn't, but rather how sweet their matches are.
Seriously. That's awesome, thanks guys. And Thank YOU Gail Kim and Awesome Kong!
