Impact on 12/27 scored a 1.1 cable rating. Gerweck.net I guess Jim Cornette is getting another bonus...

Can they rename Chris Harris "Mr. 1.1?" Sure it's a sucky name but it might get him over.

I bet they put on a hell of a show with great matches like they did this week and get a 1.1 WITCH IS A GOOD RATING!!!!!!!!! Add the fact that they get a steady rating to buyrates, merchandise, Youtube shows, international distribution ect and "GASP!" they are a succesful promotion..this this can't be! All the internet marks hate tna it has to suck. It can't be successful in any measurable way. My God they only get 3-5 million viewers a week

However...they do not get 3 to 5 million people. I'd mark if they did...but 1.1 -1.2 does not = 3 - 5 million people.

It would also be good if at least 70-100,000 of those million bought their PPV's.

TV rating has been consistent, however, Meltzer is reporting that TNA has recently sunk into their weekly PPV Numbers (with No Surrendur- 17,000 and Victory Road - 15,000) ...Christ, with a million people watching every week, how is that even possible? Anyone know the buy rate for Turning Point?

I still think they should only do 4 ppvs a eyar. Trying to do 12 a year is just overkill. WWE can afford to do this because no matter what, People will buy there ppvs. How much are there ppvs?

I think one of their biggest problems is when they do a PPV that is outside of FL, they tend to focus on that PPV for 2 months and the one before that winds up suffering. Like Against All Odds is coming up in February from SC, I keep seeing ads for that show on Impact regularly. But Final Resolution is coming up in 5 days but they've only announced 4 matches for the show.

Nuclear warfare has been unleashed.
Armeggeddon is upon us.
The few humans beings that are left are forced to live in underground shelters, and scamble for the last scraps of food to survive.
Impact will still get a 1.1

Right, they can do 12+ PPVs when they start reaching, or even passing beyond, WWE's current ratings. As things now stand 4, or 5, PPVs per years sounds just fine.

PPVs need to be done as a revenue source, whether they are making much money or not. However, they don't seem to have the time to develop enough heat on storylines to sell 12 ppvs. Going to 6 gives them 16 hours to divy up enough time to sell each PPV. Slowly shrink the time when buys start going up.
just my thought
