I actually didn't even know she was still under contract to begin with.

Those Diva forums have probably exploded by now.

I hope that everyone who says "Yay!" Loses their job tomorrow. Then you'll know how it feels. who cares what she did. Fact is, she lost her job. Same thing when you cheer for anyone else losing his/her job. 1. I've been fired before, that's LIFE. Deal with it. 2. She supposedly has her own clothing line and store. So why should I feel bad for her when she is supposedly doing well without wrestling? Yeah, that's what I thought. I stand by my "YAY".

I liked her, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't holding out hope that she'll pull a Gorgeous George or Tylene Buck and get into hardcore porn eventually.

This is the entertainment business, where the people involved are larger than life and not the same as you or I. They do not deserve to be treated like normal people and as such must learn to adhere to criticism and hatred, just as much as they need to learn to be adored. Yeah, Torrie Wilson is a person, and it sucks to lose a job. But she's also a generic blonde bitch who did nothing for pro-wrestling and hasn't deserved to be with any wrestling promotion since day one. So I stand by my sentiments of good riddance.

i've never really been a fan, but she seems like a cool person, so i hope she gets over the injury and gets another job. good luck to her on the rest of her life, i say.

I say TNA hires her and Dawn Marie... and we relive the lesbian angle.

According to www.t-wilson.org/ , Torrie asked for her release. So much for those who thought she was being left out in the cold by WWE. I met her at a signing last fall, and she was pretty damn nice. I know she couldn't wrestle a lick, but she had a pretty good career for a non-wrestling woman. I'm sure she'll do fine with her clothing line and all. And that leaves Chavo and Greg Helms as the only remaining WWE employees who were bought out immediately after WCW was sold.

She was never my favourite diva not by a longshot, still surprised to see her get released. I think only Chavo and Helms now have stayed under contract the full seven years since WWE purchased WCW and all them contracts (not including anybody behind the scenes obviously) or is there anybody else? That's an interesting point. Chuck Palumbo, with the exception of a year and half in the middle, is the next closest, and Booker T was there for a long time. Some other notables are Shannon Moore, who had a chunk missing in the middle, as well as Jamie Noble. And who says they don't like cruiseweights?

Well...she was hoping to get a promotional spot since she couldn't wrestle anymore, but I understand WWE releasing her since they have plenty of people who can do that. I hope her back doesn't give her too many problems and I too wish her luck in her future. ::slaps hands together:: it's ok, I just took care of realigning her back. She feels much better now... and so do I. ;D

Does this officially make Torrie the hottest free agent out there then?

I'll miss her. I'd take her as the diva face of SmackDown any day over Michelle McSkank.
