Hmmmm I'm not sure about this. The ECW/SmackDown arrangement was a good deal because both rosters are pretty thin and they both benefited. The ECW guys are more or less just gonna be a backseat to the RAW guys.

I agree with Rican, both brands are very thin and what will they do to fill up Smackdown and ECW tapings? They need each other to survive against RAW.

What about the "In Crowd", they have the Smackdown Tag Belts, yet they are ECW guys.

What about the "In Crowd", they have the Smackdown Tag Belts, yet they are ECW guys. Since the Brand Extension is pretty much dead outside of house shows and international tours, I don't think they'll have a problem traveling to SD tapings.

So I wonder what they are going to do at the Smackdown tapings now before hand... traditionally TV tapings always had an hour of a B-show be in Heat, Velocity, or ECW, and then a 2 hour main show. What are they going to do with the extra hour now in front of Smackdown? Are they going to just have an hour of dark matches, and then the actual Smackdown show? Maybe they will bring back Velocity?

This is going to gimp the already gimped Smackdown roster and setup even further. Great.
Let's hold out hope for 30-minute "Big" Dave Batista promos, ala HHH's "I am that damn good" promos from 2003.

That company doesn't give a shit about Smackdown stop acting like they do, they keep a couple name guys there and pretty much take everyone else that gets over and move them to Raw.
On Smackdown the ECW guys win matches and look equal, if you think they'll ever be allowed to look equal to Raw guys...yea pipe dream.

Maybe they'll do a draft and strengthen Smackdown.
Super Crazy will now be able to appear on ECW.
Although actually, maybe it won't happen.
As it is ECW is almost live, and being taped is what supposedly hurts Smackdown. So why would taping ECW increase interest?

Once again, WWE screws over SmackDown! It's almost like SmackDown! belongs to another wrestling company, and Vince is trying to put them out of business.

What about the "In Crowd", they have the Smackdown Tag Belts, yet they are ECW guys. They'll lose the belts, break up, and then keep reuniting until The Miz gets his face annihilated by a ladder.

So, does this mean that Jim Duggan becomes an ECW Superstar?
