It's simple people. It's called 15 minutes of fame at any cost. Couple this with Youtube and you're going to have more of this. What the WWE needs to do is to prosecute these people. Major League Baseball does it and the WWE needs to do it. Reason being, and you know this is going to happen, some chucklehead is going to crash the ring, get his ass handed to him, her hurt, and sue the company. Bank on it.

the best was when, in ROH, some fan tried jumping in the ring while homicide and low ki were midring, cutting a promo. BAD IDEA. Wow. ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png)

Didn't Hunter completely destroy a fan once who tried this? I recall one where he was on the ramp and Linda was also walking down it, then some fan ran onto the ramp and Hunter unleashed a sick spear and took him down on the hard metal. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

You guys are rather harsh on calling these guys idiots. I mean, do you think the band at Stanford in '82 were idiots? That's a pretty tough school to get into and it's hard to get that many idiots into a band.

What I don't get is why these idiots don't attack in groups. I mean, if you want a shot at the wrestlers, you should at least bring a posse. I mean, a couple security guards wouldn't be able to contain everyone, so at least one of these morons would get his shot at infamy. Theres one incident in Botchamania where an independent wrestler gets on the mic and says "Black is beautiful". Than the red neck audience charge the ring. The funny part was the three wrestlers in the ring totally owned all of them. My favorite was Bash at the Beach where a fat fan jumped the ring when Hogan turned heel and Nash just stomped the crap outta him.

Well, this is the same university that requires its tree mascot to blow .00 on a breathilyzer test before being allowed to perform. Yes they do have a good shre of idiots there.

The Eddie ladder one is the most notorious for me. You just knew that guy thought he was being clever until Eddie lands on his feet and pastes him one.

I'd be impressed if a wrestler tried to beat the kid up and he reversed it into an ankle lock. The crowd would go nuts.

I know, they should have a wrestler pick out someone from the crowd who is taunting them and challenge them to a match. The crowd would go BANANA for that and you'd make a future SUPERSTAR in the ring!

my favorite one was at Wrestlemania 23, during the HBK-Cena staredown, a fan came to the ring and started streaking.

For the same reason some fat ditchpig tried to sue McDona;lds for making her fat and some pathetic loser tried to sue Budweiser for making him drunk. The 12 jurors and a dream jackpot

I truly hate it when people do this because it takes an already dangerous activity and increase the danger significantly. You've got people who don't have training, who might have had too much to drink, and who are convinced that they're tough guys; that's a recipe for disaster.
And I don't understand what they think they're going to accomplish. Let's face it...pick out the smallest, weakest, least physically intimidating wrestler around (let's say Colin Delaney, for sake of argument). He's still a professional athlete who's fully capable of withstanding and dishing out lots of damage. Hell, I'd imagine that Maria could whup most people's butts if given the chance. And on Monday that chucklehead decides to get in the ring with Cena? This is a guy who FU'd the Big Show. He's inhumanly strong. One punch would knock most people into next week. And as for Hardy...hell, Jeff's hurt himself more than you ever could.
People need to understand something...you are a fan, you are not the show.

I love the Botchamania where Brian Hildebrand beats the crap out of an invading fan, and Dean Malenko and some guy are trying to wrestle, but Heenan and Schiavone are like 'that fan just got destroyed by the world's smallest referee, way to go Curtis!' Malenko was wrestling Psicosis.I was at the ECW/Smackdown taping last night some drunk fan was openly boasting to his friends to dare him to go jump in the ring and then began insisting he was going to do it and one friend kept telling him he better not and taht the wrestlers would hurt him bad.Luckily one of teh ushers over heard the guy & read him the riot act for it.
