Vince seems too obvious. Although that's my only guess.

None other than R. Kelly has offered to buy the wrestlecrap website.
However, I predict he will renig on the offer wants he views the contents of the site and realizes that there are actually no pictures of young women wrestling in crap on the site.

I think RD should sell it, I mean I like wrestlecrap, but if someone offered me a crapload of money for the site as it is, which is a shadow of it's former greatness, I'd sell. Money is more important than thankless work on a website, I mean we can all sit here and say RD you are so cool and witty and funny, but that doesn't pay RD's bills. So I wouldn't blame him if he sells.

I don't think it's a rib from the way RD phrased it.
And we all know that the site itself is a money pit, not a money maker, so no one's going to buy it as an investment, then sit back and let RD do all the content as usual. They'll either shut it down, turn it pay, or tie it in somehow with other business venture(s).
However, that's our problem, not RD's. What I would suggest you consider is this, RD:
1) You shouldn't feel guilty on our account if you sell. We've all gotten a lot of entertainment out of you for little or nothing (depending on whether we purchase anything). But how much you would miss doing the site and amusing people does matter and is something only you can attempt to quantify.
2) Impact on your 'non-site' career. Obviously the popularity of the site drove the sales of your books. Are you now established enough that you could still sell without the publicity of the site? Beats me. Is the money so huge that any possible drop in sales numbers is a drop in the bucket by comparison? Beats me.
3) Most importantly - be very, very careful about the exact language of the deal. Hopefully, you have the sense to have contacted a lawyer who specializes in intellectual property. Depending on wording, you could find yourself unable to use any photos or language from the site again or even unable to write about any of the scenarios anymore, anywhere. Also, unless you and Blade have an existing agreement about ownership of his contributions, this could be sticky - what if they want rights to everything he's done? Is that even yours to offer?
Good luck, man. I hope you handle huge decisions better than I.

Not to be a downer, but assuming that the person offering this large amount of money is a legitimate businessman (which is sounds like they are, just from RD's post), I would guess that they would most likely put a section in the contract that would prevent RD from creating a competing site.

I don't actually believe RD has been given an offer by anybody at all. Why? It's April Fool's Day next Friday. RD's probably gonna spout something about the WARRIOR~! buying the site. But lets face it, he ain't gonna beat last year for awesomeness.

Who in the business has a sense of humor about everything.. and has money? hmmm
Nash, Foley, Al Snow, Christian? And msot def, if they buy it, RD has to at least keep his job on the site.

You fools! Can't you figure it out that it's obviously TL Hopper? Man, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out. It is "wrestlecrap.com" you know?
Sorry if I've said too much, but I just had to break the news.
