All 5 of the cover boys make sense, but lets say you and Bryan wanted to add another guy to the cover who was instrumental to the death of WCW (excluding Kellner). Who would it be, and why?

I'd go with the Warrior, he stayed for a short time but did many damages to the fed.

Hmmmm...good question. I'd probably go with David Arquette, because it was that ANGLE that turned so many folks away. It wasn't his fault (he protested the idea, trust me) but I think a lot of folks identify that as WCW's final nail in the coffin. RD

What about Jim Herd? He was long before the death, to be sure, but if there hadn't of been millions blindly poured into the copany by Turner, it would have probably bit it under Herd's term. He was also the guy who arguably did the most to establish WCW as a cartoony mess, and the first few sections of the book are dedicated to his idiocy.

Why didn't Arquette just walk away or flat-out refuse to take it? Were they able to force him into it somehow?

Honestly, at that point WCW was already f***ed, he might as well have made some money for Owen, Pillman, and Droz.

If you are a lifelong wrestling fan, and someone offers you the opportunity to be World Champ, even if you think it is a bad idea, wouldent you do it? I sure as heck would.

It is hard to blame him, especially considering that he did good with the money he made at it.
And, while he could have refused, he wasn't in any position to change the system. It's not like his refusal would have resulted in WCW making a smart decision about the title. They'd have just tried to put the belt on Courtney Cox or something.
