WWE to KDKA-TV about their decision to put Over the Edge 1999 on the WWE Network: "WWE Network will be airing the 1999 Over The Edge pay-per-view. However, portions of the event will be edited out of respect for Owen Hart.” They also have an interview with Stephanie here from about two weeks ago where, at the time, the decision hadn't been made whether to air it or not. She said they'd do what was best for fans.
So I was browsing the Network FAQs and this jumped out at me:
5. When will WWE Network be available? Live programming on WWE Network will begin on Monday, February 24 at 9:00 a.m. ET. Video-on-demand programming will be available immediately at 9:00 a.m. ET.
Now I was under the impression that the live, scheduled programming will begin right after Raw; after all, that's what John Cena said during WWE's presentation at the CES. So either someone at Stamford screwed up, or WWE changed its mind.
Assuming that this is true, that WWE decided to start the live stream immediately upon launch, I wonder what the first program will be.
