At the end of the day it's still Shane Storm. Big whoop. Here's the thing, though. I'm willing to bet just about everybody said the same thing about Vin Gerard at the infancy of this angle, and look how he's become arguably Chikara's most improved wrestler all across the board. I'm DEFINETLY giving it a shot. True. But still........it's Shane Storm. Need I remind you of the tamborine promo? |

Here's the thing, though. I'm willing to bet just about everybody said the same thing about Vin Gerard at the infancy of this angle, and look how he's become arguably Chikara's most improved wrestler all across the board. I'm DEFINETLY giving it a shot. True. But still........it's Shane Storm. Need I remind you of the tamborine promo? But still Equinox was the absolute worst. He was far worse than Storm could ever be. Storm is great when he comes to fight, when he's having brawls with the other heavyweights he's awesome. Look no further than his matches against Quack post-CHIKARA special secret giveaway angle. When he's doing lucha against the likes of FIST is when he's a ball of suck. Storm doesn't NEED to do promos now that he's aligned with Vin. Storm just needs to kick ass now and be as evil as possible. |

If Storm works the style he worked against Eddie Kingston and Quack, only turns up the hard hitting a bit more, I think he could indeed Transform as Vin intends. The goofy mask didn't help the high impact style, maybe this evil mask will work better.
Plus, keeping him masked keeps possibilities open. Once you unmask a guy you can't go back. We've still got the possibility for a Rudo Shane Apuestas match, or any number of things. Plus, should he ever turn Tecnico again, he can gain a less-awful looking tecnico mask.
