I don't know if anyone else has touched on this, but does the new over the edge psychotic Edge remind anyone else of the Joker, in "The Dark Knight?" It's just some of the little mannerisms that he has added like licking his lips periodically, and some of the humor like clicking his heels when pushing Vickie around backstage. Also, last week, when he said, "You look nervous," I was like, THAT is so the Joker. Does anyone else see this?

A liiiitle. But I see it more as going back to the awesome psycho heel Edge he was before the whole Edge/Matt/Lita thing helped push him down the lecherous guy who's a big coward road.

No the way he was talking to Vickie way reminded me of Jack Nicholson from "The Shinning" than TDK's Joker but any way it was seriously awesome.

I just love "Nutball" Edge. He was more entertaining tonight than a lot of the times I've watched him in the past couple of years.

Mission accomplished by WWE in my book. The world title matches at SummerSlam doesn't interest me at all, Cena/Batista really doesn't mean anything and will probably won't end cleanly, but Edge going off the deep end has totally sold me on this HITC match with Taker so I'll be shelling out to buy the PPV. Never would've thought this would be a selling point a couple months ago when this feud was stale as hell, but I get the feeling this is going to be one of the best matches of all time.

The WWE deserves a better quality of heel and He's going to give it to them....

I just watched a few minutes of when Edge wheeled Vickie out to ringside, and I definitely see it. From the way he's got his hair parted to his mannerisms. I definitely see a smidge of Joker in there.
And I support this.

No, not at all.
Closer to Nicholson in the shining, as someone else said, or even Brad Pitt in Kalifornia.

i saw him as a mix of joker and alex from clockwork orange. just creepy and crazy.... honestly, it was kind of hot. Alex from ACWO was one of Ledger's biggest inspirations for the Joker.

Edge as a psychopath who does things just to cause anarchy is awesome.
He was so used to keeping order, but then he lost his title and in the ensuing chaos lost focus. and his mind went wonky.
so now he's go the "you think you know me" back in his song and it adds a bit of that crazy that he needs.
as opposed to Robo-Jericho

More Jack Torrance than Joker.
And anyway Edge has now come almost full circle, reverting back to his psycho-paranoid heel persona he had before Lita came around.
Awesome awesome work by him and by WWE. I was losing interest in the coward Edge who was hiding behind Vicki and 4 mediocre guys to hold on to his belt.
The "Ultimate Opportunist" gimmick was an incredible waste of talent, promowise and in terms of in-ring action too.
