ok somebody tell jeff hardy to choose a damn body part to be broken if it was up to me i'd say toe. however Jeff Hardy is probably too high to think logically about what injury he has.

Good to hear that it's not a serious as we were making it out to be. Hopefully, he'll be able to go at full speed and have a hell of a match with MVP.
But I still wish he'd find a style that wouldn't necessitate threads like this.

First, it's a broken neck. Now it's a bum elbow. Later this afternoon, it'll be a groin pull.

I know this is bad, but the first thing I thought when I read the initial report was: took long enough I'm not the least bit surprised.
I like Jeff, I've met him & have his autograph. But, he's a bit reckless sometimes. Idk how he's made it this long without any significant injuries.
Good to hear it's just an elbow issue though.
*How the hell did WWE employees confuse the elbow problem with a broken neck?

UPDATE ... - From Cait: Just thought I'd pass along the information that over on the hardyshow.com message board the topic of Jeff Hardy's "broken neck" came up. Tamran who is a reliable source of Hardy information said the following "not true....jeff is injured, he's having some elbow issues that's why he was pulled off things this weekend. so he can be at the PPV on sunday." This would make more sense, not sure why the store was telling people he had a broken neck. Source: www.f4wonline.comYeah and the Hardy Show people also swear up and down that Jeff has never been suspended for Wellness violations, so they aren't exactly reliable. I don't think that he has a neck injury though. WWE.com would be all over that and there is no way they would let him wrestle.

The latest from Meltzer: An update on Hardy is this. There is no neck injury, as we figured yesterday and apparently that was just an excuse given for Hardy being replaced at an interview session on Friday. Hardy had a pretty substantial elbow infection this past week, and he had it drained, and was on antibiotics all week but it's not expected to slow him down today. So the good news is that he doesn't have a neck injury. Hopefully, that's all there is to the story. *How the hell did WWE employees confuse the elbow problem with a broken neck? It was probably a giant game of telephone. The officials tell the people in charge of appearances that Jeff has an elbow injury, the people in charge of the appearance tell the Best Buy employees that he has an unknown injury, the Best Buy employees tell the fans that he has a neck injury, the fans tell WO that he has a broken neck. By the end of the chain, Jeff will have been hit by a purple monkey dishwasher.

It's a bit like how Benoit really broke his neck in TLC 3, then WWE passed it off as Austin breaking it at KOTR 01. Jeez, and we all know how well that went. I don't think WWE will be pushing injured wrestlers to keep chugging along until they can do an injury work for a LONG time.
