The fact that there is no mention of the guy whose meds were stolen being suspended leads one to the inevitable conclusion that the meds themselves were not considered a violation of wellness. The fact that he was caught pilfering them (and as some have suggested, it might simply be because he forgot to bring his own with him) is classic addictive behaviour. Big props to the E for trying to help him with his problem, rather than cutting him loose. I'm not Holly's biggest fan, but I hope he gets better soon. Then he can be future endeavoured for sucking and being a charisma vacuum, without the need for speculation about his drug habit Exactly, I want him gone for the right reasons, like the fact that the only impressive thing I've ever seen him do is his dropkick and the fact that he's a black hole of psuedo-redneck charisma.

He put the 'spark' in 'sparkplug'.
Am very very happy they caught him, wrestlers over medicating themselves only ever end up one way.
Rehab is the place for him, is a shame the policy didnt exist in Flying Brians time.

He's been with the company about 40 years and has never been over a day in his life. This is just completely false. Get better, Hardcore.

But just because I am hoping Holly gets better doesnt mean I dont get to make fun of his situation and I know one band for me to successfully make fun of him.

LOL @ Holly never being over. He may not connect right now but whenever he had something non-retarded to work with he got decent heat.

He should be fired. Not for the pain killer addiction, but for stealing stuff from someones bag. As soon as his rehab stint is done, I'd send him packing. I'm going to have to agree with this.

I think if Bob does decide to call it quits he could be a half decent trainer for developmental. I don't think Vince will ever get rid of him.

They try to make him go to rehab and he said No,No No!...
Seriously, I was never a Holly fan. But He should really be a trainer.

I wonder if it will work. Most addicts have to be ready to stop. Sending someone whos not ready (to quit) to rehab isnt gonna do much 90% of the time. But then again if he doesnt then he may end up losing a really good job, so maybe he'll atleast cut way back or something...

I'm pretty sure Hardcore has had his fair share of pops over the years. Good luck to the guy, he needs to come back and form a new tag team to avenge Priceless - dunno who with though, but he needs some kind of retribution.

Not to kick a man when he's down or anything, but why does this guy have a job? He's been with the company about 40 years and has never been over a day in his life. He's decently over, and apparently gets huge pops at shows in the South. I don't like Holly much at all, but his stuff as a heel was pretty entertaining, i.e. calling Michael Cole a "sh**head" at Wrestlemania 2000. Get well soon.

Good for him letting WWE send him to rehab to get cleaned up.
Get better Holly.

I feel sorry for the guy for having an addiction, but what reputable company would let someone still have a job after stealing another employees personal possessions, let alone the fact that they were drugs?

I know right. They just like REFUSE to fire him and yeah hes been...somewhat over and random points, but he really doesnt bring anything back...

They didn't fire a guy who was openly using racist language for years in an era when it's a corporation, so it's a bit harder to get fired there than you might think

Former WWE World Tag Team champion Bob "Hardcore" Holly is current in rehab. Holly was allegedly busted stealing pain killers out of another WWE superstar's bag. WWE executive John Laurinaitis was notified of the incident, and Holly was sent to de-tox in Atlanta, GA. gerweck.net Well, he's not the first. How was he passing wellness tests with a painkiller addiction, though? Painkillers? I thought Holly was addicted to suck.

Not a fan so much anymore, and although I wanna see the guy let go (firings delight me - I don't get it either) I wouldn't want to do be due to something like this. Best of luck to him.

Given the nature of wrestling, I'm guessing painkillers aren't one of their violations. Or he could have had a prescription and ran out, so he had a reason to not violate it. i think they're tested as an excess. If your test comes back as being abused type of thing.
