I don't get it. Why did he put on his ring gear just to walk around backstage? Because they were going to have him debut, but someone finally developed a brain and realized how stupid that name and gimmick was and scrapped the match. What exactly is with the WWE coming up with bland, stupid, gimmickless names for it's new wrestlers lately? How the hell do they expect wrestlers to get over with names like Dolf Ziggler? Take a look at the list of names the FCW got stuck with. That's about a year's worth of future Wrestlecrap inductions right there. |

All mishearings and misspellings may be put to rest; the name is Dolph Ziggler according to WWE.com. Which is still a terrible, hilarious name.

For some reason, maybe I wasn't paying very good attention (as tends to happen with backstage skits), but I thought I caught him calling himself Dolph Lundgren.

They have a wwe.com exclusive of him coming out and introducing himself to JBL, while JBL was sitting in the ring during the commercial break.
Did they give him Robbie Dawber's old OVW gimmick or something?

I remember back when they first debuted, I heard someone say that one of them had forgotten their name during the intro; was that Nicky? Or someone else? No, that was Mitch. His real name was Nick Mitchell, so he went to say "NICKY!" and stuttered. Nick Nemeth has had tons of gimmicks between being signed to OVW and now. I actually like the guy; he's got charisma and top-notch selling. |
