Fox Sports' Jay Glazer reports that Daunte Culpepper has told the Chiefs he will not meet with the organization because of a "better opportunity with another team". HA! At this rate the Chiefs will have Stan Gelbaugh as the starting QB for the final week of the season. After Gale Gilbert, Akili Smith, Joe Kane, Junior Floyd, Ryan Leaf and Cade McNown just don't work out for them. Only after Heath Shuler and Andre Ware turn the team down.

Lions released DT Langston Moore. ESPN's John Clayton reports Daunte Culpepper and the Lions have entered contract negotiations. You know,as a Lions fan,I am not happy with this. Culpepper is about the most overrated QB there is. Can he be any worse than what we have at the moment? No,but you may as well give Orlovsky the chance to progress. It's not like we're making the playoffs this year anyway. Go out and go after a free agent QB in the offseason. A good one instead of wasting your money on Culpepper. On a side note,I hate to hear the news about Refrigerator Perry. As much as I despise the Bears,I still hate to hear stuff like this. Hopefully he can pull through whatever sort of illness he has and be able to walk again.

Jeffrey Laurie, owner of the Eagles, was seen throwing up after realizing his team has totally been forgotten and now realizes that he has been an abject failure as an owner, unlike the "cheapskate" Phillies.

A good one instead of wasting your money on Culpepper. He was absolutely awesome in Minnesota. The reason he didn't produce in Miami or Oakland is because he kept coming back early from his injured knee. It's had plenty of time to recover so he can move around in the pocket and find people downfield.

The reason he didn't produce in Miami or Oakland is because he kept coming back early from his injured knee. It's had plenty of time to recover so he can move around in the pocket and find people downfield. He had three good years in Minnesota and the other ones were mediocre at best including one horrible year. Plus he had Randy Moss and Cris Carter to throw to in Minnesota. Well,Carter for a couple years anyway. I'm not saying he's the worst QB there is but I have never been impressed with the man. Plus like you said,he is injury prone and while he may have had time to heal, you just never know with someone like him. If he was fully recovered,I think some team would have at least given him a chance before the season started but they didn't. I just feel they should let Orlovsky finish the year and give him a chance to get better instead of spending their money on Culpepper.
