I've noticed something..... EMB and Wolfpack bitch and moan when their teams are playing until they lock up the win....ok that last part is for Wolfpack only. Betty bitches even when his team is up big. ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) It's a PA thing. I honestly didn't think the Steelers were going to be able to win with as depleted as they were. I sure as hell didn't expect such a lopsided victory. HERE WE GO STEELERS !!!!! Well, I think this game showed that with a beat up offensive line, Leftwich is a better QB than Big Ben. Ben couldn't string together a single amazing drive the entire first half(his only TD drive came off of a blocked punt), but Leftwich set up TWO. If nothing else, you have to admit Leftwich is one HELL of a backup QB, certainly better than Tommy Maddox......

He rarely practices during the week trying to rest his shoulder and nurse his hand. Leftwich did a hell of a job against a team that was unprepared to play against him. He'll probably start next week, but don't look for an air show. Indy is weak against the run and we've got both of our runners in place. The passing game isn't going to do all that well, one of our best blockers, Heath Miller, will sit out.

I don't think Leftwhich is better, but I do think Ben's limiations are on display with what he's working with. I said it last night and felt even more assured of it today, he can't adjust at the line and make intelligent reads, nor can he "feel" in the pocket and move away from pressure effectively. I don't know if he has audible options or anything else or if he can slide protection packages at the line, but stunt blitzes confuse him to no end and when the pocket collapes, he has a bad habit of running into pressure instead of avoiding it.
Physically he's everything what you'd want out of a QB, but he doesn't have the mental/cerebral part of the game very well developed, it would seem.

Yeah... the Eagles had no problems leaving him sipping on Whine Blitzers. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

I wish the Cowboys had signed Culpepper.. sure who knows if he'll be near his 05 level again, but it'd have been better than Johnson/Bollinger.

Raiders waive CB DeAngelo Hall per NFL Network. ......Wow Didn't they just pay him a ridonkulous amount of money? They must seriously be clearing room for Vick when he gets released.

The Raiders had to give up a 2008 second-round pick and 2009 fifth-round pick and he was making around $8 million dollars this year. He had sign a Severn year deal for $66.28 million.

DeAngelo Hall is over-rated anyways. Even when he's playing well, he can't keep his head in the game.
That said, I wish the Raiders waited until after this week to cut him. I was looking foward to seeing Smitty either burn his ass or get into his head. It's funny, even when Hall would "beat" Smith on the field, Smith would still cause him to completely and utterly break down and cost his team with penalties.

Javon Walker also getting booted out of Oakland, per ESPN.com. You mean it's a bad idea to sign a 30+ year old WR with a totally busted knee to an obscenely huge contract?

Javon Walker also getting booted out of Oakland, per ESPN.com. Hmmm....I hate Walker and am glad to see him fail but, I hate Oakland and hate to see them make a smart decision. Dammit. Also, for those in the Pick'em it has to be in by Thursday starting this week.
