Yep my stalwart Laptop (2001) the first computer I truly owned has finally died. It survived coke spillages, university internet connections, warcraft 3 battles and championship manager marathons.
But now it has given up the ghost, and seems to have just died of natural causes if such a thing is possible. Truth be told I haven't used in like 2 years (It's recharable battery for on the go use stopped being useful ages ago and had a life time fully charged of about 15 minutes.)
There was nothing on it of any redeeming value so thats good, and I only started it up in hopes of using it as a blank computer to write stuff without distractions of internet, games etc ...
In better news it now means there is a big empty space for me to shelve something else. ;D

I hope you at least got all your vintage porn moved off it's hard-drive.
It was a sad day when my HD on my old college computer crashed 2 days before my external backup HD was to show up in the mail.

Actually I had just deleted it all (shocking I know, lol), along with removing lots of old games. As I said I only started it up in hopes of using it as a blank computer to write without distractions, Anything of any true value I had moved off the laptop a long time ago.
