This could be awesome if done right.
And dissapointing if it just ends up being Shannon Moore.

Again, unique way to hype it except they already have the explanation out in the open. Sorta ruins the point.
It would be as if WWE put all the SAVE_US videos out a week before even starting the SAVE_US Viral campaign.
As to why they did this? I dunno maybe TNA wanted to show us (and have us see) that even when they try to actually promote and advertise themselves they still f*** it up?

Again this is why TNA should only be run out of County fairs in front of the uneducated and carnie folk.

The explanation is out in the open? Yeah don't go to IGN, YouTube (just checked there), or anywhere videos about the game could pop up.

It could also be who's under the mask and not who the character is, you know.

I don't see how it doesn't. It's would seem like the Thunder Ligers and Tiger Masks and Curry Mans of the world, where they take something from a media, a cartoon or game in this case, and integrate it into the sport itself.

It's would seem like the Thunder Ligers and Tiger Masks and Curry Mans of the world, where they take something from a media, a cartoon or game in this case, and integrate it into the sport itself. Except in this case the entire character is the player himself, the backstory is almost made moot by the time you begin the game because you're starting at the bottom with yourself having to be completely rebuilt with plastic surgery so goddamn awesome nobody will ever have a clue and so forth. I mean I ran this whole thing by one of my friends, and she said "...it's the same thing!" and it is. It's not like how Cloud in FFVII has a loss of memory and doesn't remember who he was before the game starts, this is the player himself being described with the ultimate payoff to this ARG being that you (the player) are Suicide, and this is what happened. But we already know what happened. Maybe not in excruciating detail, but we know what happened already. TNA voice narrator guy already told us. There is no mystery to solve here.

However, and this just came back to me, it would see that you have to ask if this is about the game or about the hypothetical TV angle. The page itself has the game shot and not something real for a photo.

The page itself has the game shot and not something real for a photo. Well that's a good point. I personaly think it's either an Alternate-Reailty Game/Viral Campaign for the game, or (and this is the bad version) some sort of angle that will blend the game and the show together in ways i cannot even fathom or begin to make sense of, other than the fact it will probably involve Kaz. Hell Kaz isn't even in the roster of the TNA game so I can see them doing this and it STILL not making any sense given what Voiceover guy said about Suicide in relation to the game (one of the greatest champions, which won't work seeing as how the game comes out in 3 weeks, Kaz hasn't had a title since that 20 minute tag title reign with Super Eric, and he hasn't even had a singles belt in years). Whatever it is I can easily see it involving the video game somehow.

This may very well be a good idea. After hitting the website/Myspace page most people will probably Google TNA Suicide or something similair looking for more clues or answers. I did a Google search and the first result that comes up leads to a topic IGN message board for TNA Impact about the rumour Kaz will be coming back as Suicide. If the idea is to get people to get off thier arses and search for answers that will lead them to IGN and many other sites that have coverage of the videogame it's a very smart one. Saying "Go to IGN.com for info on TNA Impact - The videogame!" may work but this will make people go there whether they were interested in going or not.
