I agree with this sentiment. BTW, the guy introduces himself as "Taker". His peers and his co-workers respectfully refer to him as Taker. If you youtube his meeting with Matt Hughes (UFC), you will see that Matt Hughes respectfully shakes his hand and calls him "Mr Undertaker". And like someone else pointed out, anytime he is given football jerseys as gifts, or shown at sports events out of character, the name always reads "Undertaker". So with that in mind...who the hell is a common fan to refer to him as "Mark". Not only does it expose you as a lame smark, but it also shows immediate ignorance and disrespect. BTW, go call Raven "Scott" and see what happens ;D

i hate it when people call the wrestlers by their real names, unless you know them personally. and it wasn't really grave danger as much as it was a difference in opinions that ended a maybe relationship. his fault. They are characters/personas so why will you treat them differently from movie actors? Michael J. Fox doesn't go by the name "Marty McFly," and I am pretty sure Glen Jacobs doesn't go by "Kane" on his ID card. it's different since michael j fox plays more characters than just Marty McFly. when wrestling comes on, we don't see a cast show up like on sitcoms. it's not: Adam Copeland as Edge Glen Jacobs as Kane and presenting... Paul Levesque as Triple H. there aren't even credits at the end of wrestling. that's the difference between wrestling and tv shows.

Do you remember when some of the WCW broadcasts had credits? that was hilarious

I wish people would just say there "happy" or "cheering loudly" rather than that vulgar, grotesque phrase "marking hard". Sounds like a metaphor for masturbation if I ever heard it. And no way can this post be genuine. It almost sounds like bait for someone like me. And this fish ain't rising to it. If it is, then as Roddy Piper (Roderick Toombs, Sr) once said to Ravishing Rick Rude (Richard Roode), "You're lower than the belly crawlers on the ocean, kid!" Go on, take this sweet, sweet smark bait.

The turning point in my evening came during the main event, which featured The Great Khali (Dalip Singh) and Dave Bautista (shudder). I had no idea Batista's real name was "shudder."

One time at a RAW in Grand Rapids, my friend and I were the only ones to cheer Cody Rhodes (Mortimer Axelston Jr.). We cheered pretty loud, but nobody seemed to get on our Cody bandwagon. We also cheered pretty loudly for Paul London (Brian Kendrick) and Brian Kendrick (Paul London) when they came out. They got a decent pop because of us.

i had just a small incident with a guy who was annoying and didnt like a face santiono starting to turn heel vs val venis match and started to call val with his short hair cut gillberg through out the whole match. every sentce he said gilberg and the match went about twelve minutes so u should imagine my frustration through out it.
Then later during a bobby lashly match he said he was the black goldberg and started it up agian. FInally i had enough turned to him and said "look he is not the black goldberg, he is the black brock lesnar now shut up.' or something like that. i was taking my friend to his first wrestlign event with fourth row seats and that guy was ruining my time so ya i statted my case when i could. And some kids who were like ten were funny saying jbl and kennedy sucks for me wearign there t shirts to the events. all in all was a fun night.

Of course, WWE sent officials to hunt me down for talking about backstage politics to my friends. I was arrested, tried for blasphemy, was given a trial, originally sentenced to death(by hanging), but was reduced to one year in prison. So yeah, my smark-like tendencies almost cost me my life.

He goes by his real name of Bobby Lashley, right? Personally I always liked Bobby Lashley (Bobby Lashley), the only guy I ever really heckled to the point were he seemed to get mad was Ric Flair (Richard Morgan Fleihr) during a house show in 1992 when he faced Macho Man (Randy Poffo) in the main event.

I will say this on the topic of calling wrestlers by their real names. Would you call Tom Cruise "Mr. Thomas Mapother IV"?
I thought not. Our wrestling names are our 'professional' names. It's what we go by. You are not cool, or doing something 'rightous' or even gaining respect by calling someone by their real name WHEN IT'S THE NAME THAT WE GO BY.

i hate it when people call the wrestlers by their real names, unless you know them personally. Then how ought I to refer to Jeff Jarrett, Kurt Angle, Kevin Nash & Bryan Danielson?
