Man, that movie was awesome. I can honestly say there was not one thing in this movie I didn't like.
I knew about the repulsors/lasers. I knew about the rockets. I didn't know about the shoulder-mounted snipers. Those were f***ing tight.
The closest thing I can think of to being "bad" in this movie was Jarvis being an AI, but it still felt like Jarvis somehow, so I let it slide.
The cameo by Samuel Jackson at the end, even though I knew about it in advance, was still great.
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say best Marvel movie ever so far. (Haven't seen the new Hulk or Punisher, though.) Either way, definitely one of the best movies of the year.
What did everyone else think of this amazing movie?

If you have seen Iron Man than Hulk won't have any surprises. It is obvious they were made by the same people who are collaborating on the Avengers movie which may or may not happen.(It is hard to tell because the budget to get all those stars would be almost impossible.)
Hulk isn't just like Iron Man but it does have the same type of symbolic messages and they both go in a similar direction.
Honestly I thought Dark Knight blew both of them out of the water. the next super hero movie to beat Dark Knight is going to be a huge huge huge master piece.

Different companies, different directions. Although, I did just see Dark Knight, too. That was also a very good movie. Better than Iron Man, but not by much IMO.

Yeah Iron Man was good but I thought it lacked quite a bit for some reason. They pretty much put all of Downey's good one liners in the preview. the sad thing is I thought Downey as Tony Stark was more entertaining then when he was in the Iron Man costume.

He was perfect as Tony Stark. Which is gonna make the second movie even better, if you ask me. Since it's gonna be about Rhodey (At least, he'll have a bigger role), we'll see less of Iron Man, and more of Stark, because instead of Iron Man we'll have... (Again, if this song isn't in the advertising for Iron Man 2, we riot. Then again, Back in Black was in the first movie, so I don't think AC/DC will have a problem with it.)

It was alot funner watching it a second time on Blu Ray on a 1080 pi 52'' TV. But it's quite enjoyable fun Superhero movie that is refreshingly light and not dark or grisly like every other Superhero movie these days.

The cast of The Dark Knight probably commanded a a pretty penny as well. At this point, Downey Jr and Sam Jackson the only confirmed big names they'd need for an Avengers movie, and Jackson doesn't seem like he's that hard to get in a movie, especially an Avengers movie. There's no guarantee the Hulk will even be in the movie, let alone if Norton would come back to play him. They have yet to cast Captain America and Thor for either the solo films or the Avengers, and I could see them going the Hugh Jackman route of finding an unknown who fits the part, rather than making a big star fit the role. Now...the bill for all the special effects on the other hand....

You can't compare Iron Man to The Dark Knight, they're two completely different movies. A more apt comparison would be Iron Man to the Spiderman movies. Honestly, I didn't like Iron Man as much as everyone else did. It was good, don't get me wrong, but I liked the first two Spiderman movies and the recent Hulk movie more.

I didn't know they did a track called that on their new CD. They probably will go with that, but still, I'd prefer they went with...

Avengers has to be done right. So if it has to be a big budget film, then so be it.

I have to agree it's the best Marvel film thus far. My only gripe would be that they should've kept the party scene with Ghostface Killah in the movie.

The AC/DC one in the trailers, and the KISS one over the end credits? ;D Seriously, the only thing I'm bummed about is that Terrence Howard is not coming back to play Rhodey. Or so I've heard.
