Its funny. I remember seeing Big D at a venue that held maybe a hundred folk back during my freshman year of HS(so, 4 years ago). Now they're playing Warped tour. crazy

WOOO! I can't wait. Last year's Warped Tour was pretty DAMN awesome here in Cincinnati. July 29th baby! Can't wait.
I'm looking forward to mainly Less Than Jake. They have the greatest live show. Also looking forward to Anti-Flag, Bad Religion, Bouncing Souls, maybe Meg & Dia, sort of NOFX although I could do without, Saosin, Scary Kids, Senses Fail, The Ataris (GREAT live), and definately Thrice. I hope alot more big names are announced and hopefully all of the bands I want to see play here. Otherwise I may make a roadtrip to another city to see them.
I've been to 3 Warped Tours. '08 takes the win over '06 just slightly for me.

I remember my first and last warped tour. AFI before they stopped playing punk and started playing contemporary rock. Pennywise, less than Jake, Bouncing souls, Me first and the Gimme Gimmes, Rancid. It was pretty awesome. A lot of those guys seem to be there every year though. Unfortunately, more and more mallcore bands get added every year.
And just a note to the guy who said he could do without NOFX. Its NOFX dude. Though it would be better to see them on their own headlining show. (They played the entire decline the last tour. It was awesome).
It would be nice if another tour came along to feature more non-mtv mallcore bands, water that wasnt 5 dollars, and wasnt sponsored by a shoe company.
You know. How it was supposed to be when it started.

Not a big NOFX fan either(well, not a fan of Fat Mike) but they have a few songs I like. Looks so-so next year. I like Flogging Molly,Bouncing Souls,The Devil Wears Prada,Scary Kids Scaring Kids,Lights,Alexisonfire,Less Than Jake, and The A.K.A.s. I like a few songs by Underoath and Thrice. Of course the closest it comes to here is Pittsburgh and I'm not going to drive 4 hours to it unless someone I really want to see is added.

Plus Fat Mike made fun of my Bouncing Souls tattoo.

Those are pretty much all the acts I'd like to see on that list. Seems to be shaping up pretty well so far. I will almost definitely have to attend.

They were also at 04's. I didn't see them, but I remember seeing their name on pretty much the smallest stage's setlist there.
The band I was watching on that stage probably had about 20 people total. So yeah...pretty small.

There's not much metal this year compared to recent years, prob because of both Ozzfest and Mayem Fest running this summer. Oh well, the bands I want to see most are A Day to Remember (seeing them in April with Devil Wears Prada anyways), Black Tide, Flogging Molly, Senses Fail, Silverstein, and Underoath.

I feel like I'm getting old. Back in the day I'd know who every band was on that list, and I'd go on the website the night before and get all the set times for each band and basically plan out which sets I'd hit all back to back to back so that I didn't get smurfed over with two bands playing at the same time and me not being able to make a decision on which to watch.
AND today I look at that list and maybe have listened to three of those bands and only like the full album from two. And I only liked one.
Hopefully AAA will be at Warped again and then I'll just sit in the Monster area and drink hella free Monsters until the luchadors decide to wrestle like I did last year.

Yeah, AAA being there was wicked awesome. Unfortunately I didn't get to see Psicosis 'cause he was wrestling at the same time that Coheed was performing.

I also love them.
Bad Religion is especially amazing live. Just...they've been going for so long and they're still mind-blowingly great and full of energy.
I really wanna go again this year and see them for a 3rd time.

I refused to listen to them in the past since I heard that they were a Christian metal band and that completely turned me off but they sounded great and I checked out some of their CDs afterwards and was impressed

They're brilliant.

I think I might be going to Bouncing Souls and The Ataris just for it alone. I'm not sure if I should drive 4 hours or 2 hours or 0 hours depends where I'm living by then for this event. Plus I want to score my chances with Millionaires.
