So I have had a very "close Friendship" with a person of the female persusation, and I will leave it at that. It was nothing more nothing less, no matter what happened.
So tonight, in fact just minutes ago she blows up me for removing her from my myspace top friends, and replacing her with a girl that I am trying to start something with.
She blows up on me, about how close we are, weve been through so much together, and trusted me more than anyone else in her life...
Now she wants nothing to do with me...Why is she trying to make me feel like an asshole and making something so small such a big deal?

Because she wanted more. And you didn't see it, or didn't want it.
Now she's jealous and upset because you didn't pick her.
Or, she's certifiably batshit insane. Either one.

People trip on Myspace pretty hardcore. It may seem like it's something small and means nothing, but just because it means nothing to you doesn't mean it meant nothing to her.
Is there not room for both on your top friends?

Its just myspace, and this lead into so much shit. She made sure to go over everything we've beeen through good or bad and I am just like wow...Cause I tried to have something with her, she is the one who just wanted to be friends, I moved on. Now she is pissed

A decent chunk of women are...."territorial" so to speak. Basically once they enter your life, they have to be the only non-family member female in your life, even if you are only friends. Seeing you rank another female above her must've caused her to think that this new chick was better than her.

Man... if she's willing to throw a friendship away over the "Top Friend" position on myspace, just let her go.
She hasn't set her priority in life straight. At all.

Yeah, either she wanted you all along, or she's a MySpace freak.

Worst thing people ever did on myspace was make a TOP friend list. Just disable it.

This is one of the reasons I totally did away with my MySpace. It causes more harm than good.

I get that crap all the time... "Why am I not in your Top 8?"
"Because my top friends are set at random, that way nobody's feelings get hurt."
"But but but, I'm not in your Top 8?"
"No, you're not, because you blew me off repeatedly to f*** your ex-boyfriend."

I, too, have gotten flak for this. It has been a long time since I have had actual people in my "Top Friends". All of my Top Friends are Bands now. And if ever anyone ever brings up "Top Friends" since then, I always respond: Music will always be there for me, never cheat on me, and never gripe when they are/aren't in my "Top Friends"

One of my friends is the same way, and seriously thinks something terrible has happened if I move her. Sweet girl, but a nutter.

Tell her to get a grip.
If she doesn't, proceed to cut her off promptly.

I've just added a few more on occassion from like 8-10. Although, I mostly did that to make it look better in my profile.

Short answer: She'll get over it.
Long Answer: Tell Her to get over it.
Yes that answer was longer by 7 characters

Because women(and men) can be petty. Whether they're interested in each other or not.
