Eh, f*** it. At least this sets up the Vikes to not make the playoffs.

One simple request to the Green Bay Packers as the nation turns their eyes to you next Sunday.
Don't. Don't. DO NOT! DO NOT lose to the Detroit Lions. The people want to see history!

And Green Bay continues to shoot themselves in the foot. I will avoid the obvious Plax joke... Hohohoho. I didn't realize it. Kudos, my good chum.

If the Packers lose to the Lions next week, they should be forced to give up all of their Lombardi Trophys and be demoted to the CFL.

Well Bob Sanders has to be out as DC. He never seems to adjust to anything the OC does Shitcan them all. Bob Sanders, Kurt Schottenheimer, Lionel Washington, the whole f***ing works. For the life of me I can't figure out why Sanders and Schottenheimer still have jobs, as they were completely lost last year. But that's Thompson for you, makes some decent moves and some really shitty ones.

Nah they earned those trophies, cause the Packers that won the trophies were good teams. But I do agree with the demotion to CFL. They are close enough to Canada to begin with.

WINNINGUGLY, BITCHESKyle Orton only does four things: win drink not shave win some more This Bears victory brought to you today by the letters Q and B, and Devin Hester's favorite number, threeve. And thankfully, the announcers acknowledged in overtime that the Bears would still be alive with a tie in both the division and wild card chases. Academic now, but that "Bears must win 2" graphic was really pissing me off.

Well then the technically the Vikings and Bills should go first. Plus losing 4 Super Bowls is roughly the same as Winning 4 Grey Cups.

I'm happy, but the Packers choke job was something awful. I'm gonna turn of WBBM and turn on Packers post game in a pit to get the sad sack coverage.

There is a way the Giants can help the Eagles make the playoffs over the Bears, and that thought makes me sick. I want the Cowboys and Eagles out.
If the Eagles win, the Bears win, and the Bucs lose.
Than the Giant / Viking game will determain weather the wild card is the Bears or Eagles. If the Giants win, than the Eagles win the wild card and the Bears win the North, if the Vikings win, the Vikings win the North, and the Bears win the wild card.
Almost as weird as the Jets can give the Patriots the AFC East. I don't want to help any of division rivals make the playoffs, because they have the best chance to beat us, being familar with the Giants.

I'm gonna turn of WBBM and turn on Packers post game in a pit to get the sad sack coverage. Neither can I. Especially with Mike Brown out. For the record, the Bears played the fourth quarter with Kevin Payne and Craig Steltz at safety. It's as if the GB offensive coordinator forgot that, to throw on the Bears, all you have to do is recognize zone before the snap. You will ALWAYS have massive holes to throw into, simply because Payne can't tackle, and Urlacher and Brown have lost a step. Your receivers will have to take some licks, but they can still pick up first downs. I'm looking forward to the Bears heading down to Houston next week. This ought to give Orton a chance to get some timing with his wideouts tight ends and running backs, as well as allow the Bears' special teams and defense to use their speed. Schaub is the kind of QB Chicago can beat. CURRENT NFC PLAYOFF PICTURE -- espn.com

And if the Patriots beat the Bills then they (and their fans which include me) will have to cheer for the Jets.....I feel so dirty just saying that. I think I need a long shower. I just hope Junior Seau is healthy after being tackled by a drunken moron yesterday Yea that was great. I saw footage of it but did that air during the game itself? Because I saw that entire game and don't recall seeing it live. That guy definately had that "I love you man!!!" at the party type of inebriation. Gotta love the cold weather football games. The home team has a distinct advantage over their warm weather visitors, players are making snow angels (even if it does get them 15 yards assessed on the ensuing kick off) and fans are full of....let's just say "holiday cheer" That very well could happen. Especially now that NYJ Vs. MIA is now moved back to 4:00. So if the Pats win the Jets would be less inclined to want to win as opposed to if the games were happen simultaneously or if the NE Vs. BUF game was at 4:00 then they might try to win and say "who knows what might happen with the New England game, atleast we have an outside shot". Still, even though there is a precendent for this (the 1985 Denver Broncoes) it still amazess me that the New England Patriots could go 11-5 and not make the playoffs, especially considering some of the mediocre records of some of the Division champs that clinched berths (I'm looking at you Arizona Cardinals).

I can actually see the Jets doing that - if they were told either the Dolphins or the Pats were to make the playoffs, they'd take the Dolphins every time.
