Ok fellow Crappers... I need your support for one of the best activities: shopping with somebody else's money ;D
With Christmas gifts, eBay deals, tips and rake-offs I managed to raise around 400$.
I just can't leave them alone on my bank account, so I won't pretend I'll do.
The problem is: I have at least 2000$ worth of crap on my wish-list, and of course if you give me 5000$, I'd still gladly spend them til the last dime.
So, I need your help. And to help you making up your (and MY) mind, every item is listed with a major pro and a major con.
* Nokia N95 mobile phone
PRO: Cool mobile with lots of functions and good camera
CON: My Nokia N70 is still doing fine, and I'm not a cell-o-holic
Estimated Cost: 350$
* Rosenborg and Stabæk soccer shirts for my collection
PRO: They'll be hard to find later. One is even available on -50% sale
CON: Expensive and I probably won't even wear them to play, not to risl damaging them.
E.C. 70$ the Rosenborg one, 100$ the Stabæk one
* Soccer shirt spree on eBay/Classic Shirts. hunting for some "Must Have" material
PRO: Some shirts won't be available forever, especially on eBay. Great and cheap deals are possible.
CON: I can't restrain myself, and end up exceeding the budget and/or buying a lot of "B-plan" stuff, just because it seems cheap.
E.C.: 100$ < 150$ depending on how many and how much.
* Books. A lot of stuff on my list, usually off expensive sites/countries
PRO: Books are awesome
CON: I'm almost out of bookcases, been "double-parking" books everywhere. Don't/can't sell them.
E.C.: 100$ < 150$
* WrestleMania/Summerslam Anthology
PRO: weak US$ = cheap shopping [disks being Region 1 isn't a problem]
CON: Blurs/edits. I won't watch them more than once, if at all. Already have non-edited VHS rips.
E.C.: 150$ each, or cheaper if possible
* Edge DVD, HBK and HHH T-shirts
PRO: weak US$
CON: I can download the DVD, and I wouldn't wear the T-shirts
E.C.:120$ S&H included
* Scrubs Season 6 and 7 Box-sets
PRO: I love Scrubs
CON: Season 7 may not still be available here. Too expensive still.
E.C.: I'm not paying more than 35$ each
* Simpsons Box-sets
PRO: I love the Simpsons
CON: Too many seasons! Already have all the episodes in decent quality. I could quote every episode almost verbatim.
E.C.: Probably around 30$ for the early seasons, up to 40-45$ the newer ones.
* Fancy Clothes
PRO: fancy clothes are cool
CON: My closets are exploding already. I tend to wear my fav stuff anyway. I don't have many occasions for dressing up nowadays.
E.C.: 250-300$ for like 2-3 polos, 1 sweater, 2 jeans
* F1 die-cast models for my "rejects" collection.
PRO: some cars are cheap
CON: most are non-existing/rare/expensive. "Reject" collection is virtually impossible to complete. Models are gathering dust on my shelves anyway
E.C.: 30-35$ each, the cheap ones. 50$ and above the others
* Spare for a vacation.
PRO: I need a change of scenario. I want to go "home" up north. I want to visit some friends
CON: I can't go anywhere before at least late Spring. Travelling alone can be boring. It's gonna cost A LOT.
E.C.: much more than the money currently available
You can add your own suggestions/ideas, just keep in mind I'm not a movie buff, and I don't buy CDs (unless for completing my Deep Purple & Family discography).
I'm not interested in current gen consoles at the moment.
