Gotcha.
Out of those you met, how did it go? Any negative experiences? Any you sort of hit it off with, had fun?
Oh, and I remember being advised once by another fan guys don't typically like people using wrestler lingo if you're not actually a wrestler. I can sort of see where it'd make me seem like a smartass, especially to older wrestlers.

Not really any negative nancies. Christian Cage, Homicide and AJ Styles were by far the nicest. I had lots of fun hangin' out with ODB @ Buffalo Wild Wings. She's f'n crazy and can really drink her ass off. I think she liked me the best out of all that were with me cuz I didn't bother her with wrestling questions...plus I bought her a beer. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) She even gave me a hug when she left without me having to ask. It was awesome.

Damn, that's quite a story. Who knows, maybe I'll have a story of my own for you folks sometime, outside of my scattered emails.

The list of wrestlers I've met as a fan is ridiculously sparse compared to most of y'all, like Mick Foley and that's it. But I think I make up the difference with guys I've met at shows I've worked/done ring crew on the past few years...
Mick Foley Road Warrior Animal Rick Steiner Buff Bagwell Buddy Rose Col. DeBeers Mike Modest J.D. Michaels Jerry Lynn (My match actually followed his at the show he worked...THAT sucked for me, lol) Mustapha Saed New Jack

I recognize a few names on yoru list that have kind of sketchy reputations, to be honest....

Also, my Dad managed to sit next to a familiar looking guy on a flight home from New York once, he knew that his kids loved him, but he didn't realise who he was. The stranger recommended Dad the beef on the choice of meals, and they had some general chitchat, he was on his way to England to see his kids, but Dad was too scared to ask who he was due to perhaps provoking the wrong reaction.
He comes home, catches me watching RAW and instantly sees a familiarity with a person on the screen. As it turns out it was Stone Cold!

To be honest, I really have nothing good or bad to say about many on the list because I didn't interact with a lot of them. With all but a few, I would just introduce myself to them and make occasional small talk when we were in close range but that's about it. New Jack just made a random appearance at one of our shows as a guest but didn't work or anything, I did get my picture taken with him though. I will say, though, that Mustapha and Mike Modest are some of the coolest guys I've ever met and talked to in my short time in wrestling. Just having conversations with them about wrestling and the like was awesome for me. I forgot to mention in my earlier post, Derrick Neikirk works for our promotion from time to time as well, he's fun to talk to because he's still very much in touch with a lot of guys working in WWE and is up-to-date about a lot of goings-on there.

I tend to stay at the same hotels as the wrestlers, as I did for Manias XIX, XX, and XXI. When it's check out time they all come out.
Here is who I have met:
-Brock Lesnar, the morning after the SSP. He was wearing sunglasses and was totally hung over. I took advantage of his outness by asking for an autograph before he ordered. He ordered an Omelet with no cheese.
- Matt Hardy, check out time in Seattle, I asked him to sign my Matt Hardy toy that I bought earlier.
- Shawn Michaels, met him in Seattle, told him that since he came back I have been praying for his back, he told me thank you and that his back was healed thanks to the Lord. I saw him again in New York, he arrived at the Hilton in a limo with his family, his wife is beautiful and carried a very well used Bible.
- Benoit, first wrestler I ever met in Seattle, in New York we were in the same elevator and when his floor came I told him good luck in his match the next night at the Garden. He turned around, gave a smirk, almost a smile with that missing tooth and said "Thanks Kid" as the door closed.
Eddie Guerrero, I met Guerrero in LA, I was surprised at how small he was, we were both the same height. Very large nose. I told him how thankful I was of what he did.
RVD, met in Seattle and New York. He was high in New York.
Triple H, met him at Fan Axcess in Seattle. Signed his autograph.
- Big Show, first in Seattle, then in Spokane after a Smackdown taping. He just got back to the hotel and was still in his ring gear. We had a room across from his. His door wouldn't open. We offered him to use our phone, and he did. After that he thanked us by shaking our hand and taking a picture. All after a match. Great guy.
- Ric Flair, first in New York, where he signed my Hall of Fame ticket, then in LA where I sunbathed with him at the pool, granted I was on the other side of the pool. Great guy.
- Met Kane in an elevator in LA. Not really that ugly.
- Rock walked right pass me and a RUSH of fans surrounded him and I didn't bother to try and get in.
- In LA I asked Batista, who was dressed really nice in a suit, for an autograph, he declined but was really polite.
- Randy Orton I also met in LA. He flirted with my mother.
- Eugene in LA, he kept Kayfabe in public. What a trooper.
Theres alot more, I might post more later.

I'd love you too. Randy Orton being a Lady Killer, too, made me smile.

I met Stone Cold Steve Austin in New York, my grandmother, who is not a wrestling fan, loved the guy, it was at the bar in the Hilton, I want to say Friday night, and he was very much drunk.
I met Pat Patterson and Brawler in LA, they had just ordered and I figured as they were waiting for the food I could get a signing. Not the case, Pat told me, politely in his broken English that they were going to eat and Brawler gave me a dirty look.
Heres a fun one, I was on the elevator in New York at the Hilton, and I went to the floor where apparently they had set up shop for the office. I was just wondering and there was a curtain that I was about to stick my head in when someone put his hand on my shoulder and asked what I was doing here. Told him I was lost and they had an agent escort me back to my room. Don't ask me who the agent was, my memory is foggy.
Almost all the Divas I have met are tiny, very tiny. Victoria is tiny, Trish is tiny, Molly Holly is tiny, but only Stacy Keibler was tall. Very tall. I took my picture with her and that made my day.
I met Shane McMahon at the Hotel in LA. I told him that one day I would work for him. We did a photo.
In New York I was wearing a Shawn Michaels Wrestling Academy T-Shirt and Orton, Rico, and some other wrestler asked if I was a student.
I met Dave and Earl Hebner at the lobby in LA, I told them how under appreciated Referees were, they thanked me.
I had a bad experience with Hugh Morris. He was an ass. I asked him for an autograph while he was drinking a beer and told me to f*** off.
I saw Undertaker get out of his car, but I didn't dare go over to him. Not at all.

Mick Foley (Nice Guy)
D'lo (Was cool, laid back)
Ivory (sweet)
Rob Van Dam (VERY laid back guy)
Kurt Angle (granted it was at a TNA Show where they let you in the ring and for $20 get an autographed picture with him, but at the end I shook his hand and told him "Thank You so much for what you do" and he said: "You are very welcome".) I proceeded to mark out on the Hour drive back home.
Big Show (Probably the nicest, most humble well known person I have ever met!)
And BTW, to all those who have met AJ, how is he like?

I met a fair few of the oringal DSW squad from the first few shows. Miz was by far the coolest dude out of the bunch. Mike Knox and Derrick Niekirk just said "hi" in passing, but they looked like they had somewhere to be. Ray Gordy, aka Jesse was a really cool guy. Michelle McCool was one of the nicest people I've ever met. The less said about Kid Kash, though, the better.

- The Rock (I was 8. It was a huge deal for me. He even joked that we were the same age, because we have the same birthday.)
-Chris Jericho (Twice. Once, for a book signing. Another, at Fangoria's Weekend Of Horrors 08. He was promoting his movie. The nicest wrestler I've ever met. Can't say enough nice things about him.)
-Ric Flair (At LOTR VII. He was nice.)
-Candice Michelle (She was really sweet. And was looking really hot. This was right after she posed for Playboy.)
-Virgil (Douchebag.)
-Velvet Sky & Angelina Love (Both were really nice. Love thought it was really cool I brought a brown paper bag for them to sign.)
- Jerry Lawler (Really fan friendly.)
-Jackie Gayda (Bitch. She wiped her snotty hand on the back of some kid's shirt. And NEVER go to a RTWM tour stop unless your local mall is HUGE.)
-Dawn Marie. (Really sweet. We talked about her kid & how wrong it was for the WWE to fire her for being pregnant.)
- Sunny. (She still looks damn fine after all the 0987654321 she's been through.)
-I gave Terri Runnels a hug. haha
- I had dinner with Bruno Sammartino back in early November of this year. He was inducted into a local indy promotion's "Hall Of Fame."
And I'm meeting Shawn Michaels on the 27th of this month. ;D
Oh, I sorta met Edge back in 06. (There's a rather amusing story to this one.)
-It was the Supershow back in July at the Wachovia Center. A bunch of fans were waiting around where the wrestlers were parked, and I saw Edge come over. So, on my way over, Lita comes gunning outta the parking lot and almost hits me. I was just like "Holy f***, I almost got run over by Lita! Awesome!" I just ended up shaking his hand & congratulated him on winning the WWE title. He said thanks and then thanked everyone for coming out.
