Didnt feel like Street Fighter at all to me. Vega was the only chracter who looked pretty close to his game image. Bison not wearing the red suit is a massive fail. Chun Li wears her trademark blue costume for only a few seconds in that clip but at least its in I guess. Eh well I'm still excited for Street Fighter IV.

Hm, looks like it'll be one more of these "Good action but average movie" type of deal, like the first Resident Evil movie, Bloodrayne, Tomb Raider and pretty much any game-to-movie adaptation that didn't flat-out suck..

Looks just like SFII with new graphics to me The graphics really arent that high tech. It barely looks as good as Street Fighter EX3. It certainly doesnt look as good as Virtua Fighter 5 or Soul Caliber 4. They definately could have done this game on the Wii.

That's kinda what they were aiming for. A slightly more old-school feel after the massive difference that was Street Fighter III.
Not that SFIII was a bad thing, it was just very different. So they styled SFIV more closely to SFII, both gameplay and character-design wise. But the system is still fairly different from SFII.

I think the SF III cast was a heck of a lot better than the SF IV newbies(Rufus, Abel, C. Viper, etc.)

Ehh. I don't feel good about this movie. I mean, apparently the lanky dude from the Black Eyed Peas is Vega, and most of the cast doesn't really click to me. Also, like I said, I got a whole Dragon Ball: Evolution feel from the trailer. Just like the opposite sex for both movies.

I'm not the biggest fan of IV (Lame characer designs still being used, no Makoto or parry system ) but no, the graphic are the last thing I would complain about there frikin great.

I like the character designs, and I wasn't really proficient at SF3, so I'm not gonna miss the parry system. But that's me. And yeah, the graphics are f***ing stellar. Just because they're not ultra-realistic doesn't mean they're bad.

I just liked 3 so much, the new cast of characters, there designs, the fact that there really only about 3 shotos (My main problem with 4, to many damn shotos). But yeah, I couldn't have asked for a better graphical style. If this style had been used for like say Virtual Fighter, I'd be upset cause it wouldn't fit, but this is a a perfect fit for SF.

I just honestly never got a chance to get attached to 3.
I've only played it a few times, and maybe an hour at a time tops. No arcades around here, and I never got a physical copy of it in any of its releases.
It's a good game, to be sure, I just have no real attachment to it.

Was EX3 the third game? I thought it was 3rd Strike.

EX3 was the third in the EX series. The first series in which Street Fighter went 3D. The result was...alright, but nothing special. Felt pretty plain.
But hey, at least the titles got less and less ridiculous as it went on.

I'd get torched by the SFII fanboys for saying that out loud, but EX2 Plus is one of the best Street Fighters games and beats the heck out of the 2D games not called Street Fighters III.

I disagree, but you're more than welcome to your opinion.
I didn't particularly care for the EX series, myself. It just felt...dull. The music was lame and uninspired, the characters were unmemorable (unless you count Skullomania, who was awesome), and the gameplay was just very...meh.
But that's me.
