It seems like reality TV is really in the garbage, and especially hated around here.. so what "reality" type show would actually be great, and what would you really like to watch?
The easy one would be one following around a top indy wrestler

Maybe in a far off future there can be a show that follows around a unit of Space Marines like in the movie Aliens.
Today we got word that Mining Colony XCV located on Alpha Centauri 5 well their communication went dark roughly a month ago. And we are going in to investigate.

The Surreal World. It's like the real world, except stuff happens like people die one week and are okay the next, only to be dead the third week, but the chronology clearly makes that impossible, like the guy also buys a car in the same episode the guy died in. And nobody seems to care that GCI Pokemon like creatures roam the house. You know, like FCLC, but only entertaining.

The Surreal World. And nobody seems to care that GCI Pokemon like creatures roam the house. You know, like FCLC, but only entertaining. Kinda sorta ties in with my idea. A reality show based off the "Saw" movies. Nice way to thin out the herd a little bit. Only...........if the person doesn't make it............they................well they're dead............that's it. Nice and grusome. |

Take some of these wanna be gangster suburbia kids....and stick them in Detroit or Compton, or some other real ghetto (you can change locations every season). Dont give them anything except the clothes on their back and their "street knowledge". See how long they survive! Probably have to be an online show cuz I dont think any network would pick it up. |

I could dig that, if it were on HBO. As for my show idea....I think it would be cool to see what strategies the contestants would use. Would one person simply become an eating machine, trying to pack in as many calories per day as they can? Might another begin working out, trying to pack more muscle mass on, because muscle weighs more than fat? Would some turn to junk food, and others to sheer carbs and protean? In my mind, it would be interesting to see, and no more or less dangerous to the contestants than the "get fit" counterpart. |

I'd love to watch a show where I'm forced to live on an island with sexy nymphomaniacs. I'd even buy the DVD afterwards.
Besides that, COPS is all I realy watch. Well, and I'm not afraid to admit I've seen a very good chunk of the episodes of Trading Spaces.

"Guiness or Poison".
A contestant has to guess which glass is filled with Guiness and which glass is filled with Poison.
If they guesses the Guiness correctly they win a glass of Guiness. If they choose incorrectly they die....and get a glass of Guiness.

The only "reality" television show that I watch is The Ultimate Fighter, and that's only because you know at least one guy is going to get beat up an episode.
