Dude.....for $40 it BETTER be one long ass film and have a shit load of extras. Maybe even a...I don't know, demo for Resident Evil 5 on it? Since it is both DVD AND Blu-Ray they could throw on the demo for the 360 onto the DVD release and the PS3 demo onto the Blu-Ray release.
If not, even I, being the biggest RE fan around here, wouldn't buy it for $40. Come on, Advent Children was $20! And I'm pretty damn sure Advent Children had a biggest cost to make than this, what with the added need to translate it and such.

Then why is the MSRP $40 if the store price is $20? That's a pretty big gap, so big that not even Wal*Mart's and Sam's Club's bulk buying could make that much of a profit off of it.

Though most of the time, the MSRP is respected. I know damn well that if stores went under the MSRP of new video games, I'd be very happy....

Looks cool enough. It has zombies, tyrants, lickers, and the like, yet it somehow counts as all new.

Oh, then that makes sense, as the usual Blu-Ray is $30-$35. So $40 isn't too outrageous.

Maybe it's the voice acting getting to me, but this looks like one massive cutscene rather than a movie.
But being the RE fan that I am, I'll still watch it, if only for Claire.

A Leon Interview?
"You know that "Game Over" quip I said to the Tyrant before I killed him? Improvisation."
"Many people ask me why I put up with all the Ashley BS during her rescue. Well, let's just say Las Plagas wasn't the only thing she had in her during that trip...."
"I'm tired of people coming up to me on the street and thinking I'm Leonardo DiCaprio!"

I'm still not sure why they haven't used Leo in the live action films. He's money!

I'll probably rent this or something. Maybe wait till it's in those dollar rental machines in the supermarkets.

Great another Resident Evil medium where I am forced to wait 5 seconds and utter Kennedy after Leon says his name
Although I'm still convinced they were taking the mick in Res Evil 4, I mean how many times was the phrase Mr Kennedy uttered lol
Oh yeah, might pick it up cheap somewhere
